City Park Guest House has undergone a complete revamp over the past year and is now City Park Apartments. I booked not knowing quite what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. My en suite room was immaculate, with a very comfortable bed, table and fully-equipped kitchenette (fridge, oven, hob, microwave and cooking/eating utensils). I was able to park my car off-road virtually under the window, and go for a walk in the City Park across the road if I wanted fresh air. All the staff/owners who I met were very helpful and friendly. And all this for £35 per night! I've already booked my next visit...
