Shower kept going hot and cold to the point it actually burnt. Tv didnt work very well. Netflix didnt work Plug sockets hanging off the wall. Smell of **** as you come out the door.. Manager that checked us in was helpful when arriving at the property though. Unfortunately we had the room booked for 2 nights but the first night due to a family emergency we couldnt make it. And we lost out on that money. I understand a refund cant be done for everyone but given the circumstances.

Check in took ages, got a missed call earlier in the day which apparently was supposed to arrange it but unknown number so ignored. Also didnt know how to check out. Room was really nice though and bed comfortable. Location good too.

I have never felt more more unsafe and unclean than when I walked into the “room”. Absolutely filthy, broken mouldy chair, mouldy linens, broken shower door and someone else’s hair everywhere. I tried to call the number for the people in charge (because there is no front desk) and no one returned my calls. Police were waiting to raid the property when I left. Best part about this place? The central location when you need to vacate. Refusing to offer a refund because they claim they never heard from me - because they never answered their phone! Worst nights sleeps anywhere that I’ve stayed. Had no idea it was student accommodation before I booked. The information we received beforehand was rubbish as I had no idea I was meant to ring 20 minutes before arriving, I was ringing the bell at the entrance for ages so had to ring to get someone to let us in. Then I found out I needed photo ID which I didn’t have as I don’t drive and didn’t think I would need a passport. Luckily my wife had a driver’s license but they wanted to take a photo of it, which I really wasn’t happy about. Room we stayed in was dirty, radiator was also off the wall and definitely not professionally cleaned, hair and dirt on the floor, in draws and in the shower. Me and my wife had to go and buy cleaning products and gave it a clean before we could unpack. The noise throughout the day night was terrible from inside the building and from the drug/homeless hostel over the road. Rubbish all over the place around the building and we had the smell of ******** in our room at night, also someone smoking in the building set the fire alarm off at 23:00 on our second night so the building had to be a evacuated. That was the final straw, we paid for four nights but left after two. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone
