Holiday Inn SOUTHAVEN CENTRAL - MEMPHIS by IHG

The hotel was in a great location. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping places. The young man that checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. I did not eat at the hotel because the breakfast was very pricey, and I travelled with several people so I couldn't afford to pay that price for everyone. I have always stayed at Holiday Inn and never had to pay for breakfast. The room was nice but the person in the room either in front of me or behind smoked all night. I coughed and sneezed because of the cigarette smoking. I tried to cover my head, lay on the other end of the bed but it didn't help. I left with a very sore throat. When checking out the young lady at the front desk was not so friendly, she was working on something on the computer and kept her head down for a long time before she finally asked could she assist me. She never asked me about my stay. I had questions about my bills that was not explained before I booked the hotel, she did explain to me the various charges although, I totally disagreed with them.

This place is filthy and that’s an understatement. Bathroom was full of mold and furniture was extremely dirty. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. Room 412 needs to be scrubbed down from top to bottom.

Yes! This is a Holiday Inn and not a Holiday Inn Express. Don’t worry it’s a good place to stay. 🙏😃

Very nice rooms. Great for families. Clean and spacious. Several surrounding dining options and locations for shopping.

It was okay, loud airplanes kept us from sleeping everynight. We had a very hard time getting towels daily as well.

We fly out of Memphis probably 4-6 times a year on early flights. This is the perfect spot to stay and the room was very nice. Great food choices too!

Generally, it was clean, convenient, and safe. When I pulled up on it, I thought that it was a brand new modern hotel. Once inside, I realized that it was a renovation of a cheap ancient hotel. The rooms are mostly redone and modern, but the microwave was at least 20 years old and the TV about 10. My room had no drapes and a parking lot light lit the room up like Noon all night. Basic place to sleep if you are in need. Breakfast was costly so we passed. Get a discount and do not expect much.
