We were in a unit right next to a construction zone. It was off season and there were other rooms in other buildings that we could have been put in, that would have bee nIce and thoughtful. Instead we looked out on a heap of junk and had to deal with construction noise.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the River Hotel! It was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. We loved having the kitchenette available. And the balcony was great.

The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were in an end unit facing the river which was beautiful. We were a little disappointed with the layout of the room. It was not conducive to relaxing and looking out at the river. Not any fault to the staff it’s just the way the building, deck and windows are situated. It was cold when we were there. In the warm months the pool and river front deck with live music would be awesome.

Very quint clean hotel. Our room had an ocean view. Convenient to town. Full kitchen. Helpful front desk staff. Swimming pool very convenient with comfortable chairs. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel if heading to Southport, NC.
