I’m so disappointed with our resent Spa weekend. Lots of the spa facilities weren’t working, the steam room upstairs and downstairs by the pool, the jacuzzi wasn’t working and when I questioned why we weren’t informed beforehand, I was told it was on the website, why would I check the website before I was attending, when it was all booked! They should have sent an email out! And more shockingly there were ants at the poolside. When we went over to check in I highlighted the issues to the lady behind the desk as a manager wants available and she thanked me for letting her know, no apology or empathy, just an Insincere ‘thank you so much for telling me’ That evening we had a lovely meal and went back to our room, I was excited to have breakfast in bed so I filled out the form and hung it on the door about 10:00pm. In the morning about 9:30am when we’d ordered breakfast, it didn’t arrive so we waited till about 9:50am and I said to my husband you’d better check to see if it had gone, low and behold it hadn’t!!! I rang reception and they said they pick up the card and bring up our breakfast. When it arrived there were items missing, the continental breakfast, when I asked the girl, she said I wasn’t told about that! There was no sugar for our tea and we had to ring reception again and to add insult to injury the cleaner knocked on our door at 10:50 to kick us out when check out is 11. These might seem like small things but when put together and you take into consideration the amount we paid it’s not the service we expect! We spoke to yet another manager who made false promises and still hadn’t contacted us! Don’t waste your money go to a spa where All the facilities work, there’s no ants, you get all of your breakfast on time and you don’t get hussled out of your room before check out!! On a positive note the ladies that provided the treatments were amazing!!
