We loved everything about the place . Lovely rooms with good facilities . Staff were amazingly friendly at all times. Food was amazing service great both in the cafe bar and the coast restaurant. We will definitely be returning and I will recommend you friends and family .

What a gem! Lovely friendly hotel. Just opposite Birkdale railway station, rooms are lovely and clean with everything you need. There is a bar and restaurant providing refreshments and meals throughout the day. Perfect location for our needs. Would definately go back.

The host was so welcoming- could not do enough to help. Room has everything you need - offering great value for Money too. A comfortable and very pleasant stay.

Room was nice and clean but , hospitality wise was awful.my husband checked in,given brief instructions of how to get to room and into hotel part but then she rushed off because she was busy.we were not made aware of breakfast times or anything.only reading info in room did we find out that breakfast isnt served til 10am on a sunday and is also available to general public.10am is too late to start serving food and ive paid money for the privelage of been in a hotel i dont expect to wait along with general public.we wanted to be away for 9am but left without breakfast...not happy at all 😔😡

We spent a couple of nights visiting relatives in Birkdale and very much enjoyed our stay. The room (and bed) was comfortable and clean and also quiet considering it was close to the railway station. We enjoyed our very good and generous breakfasts sitting outside the cafe and appreciated our residents' discount! We were also very happy to be able to enjoy a later breakfast so that we could get up at a leisurely pace. We were made to feel very welcome by both Ian and Dicky and would certainly stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night while visiting the golf event. Very efficient service with text on the day advising procedures on arrival, a great help given how busy the area is. Parking was roadside, we had no issues but a imagine it could be from time to time. The room was No 4 which was accessed by a key coded door up a fairly narrow stairs ( help available if required). The room is a little small for king size bed, but for a short stay not a problem. Bathrooms are excellent, wet room type with good extras included. Good TV with selection on channels. A small seating area with mirror is fitted into the room, Safe, fan hairdryer all in the room. It was Saturday night, with the area outside had music which stopped at 12.00, which may concern some. A good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning at the cafe below, which had 25% discount for guests. We were greeted by the staff, served coffee straight away while waiting to choose our order. Being celiac, which is a difficult complaint. This means I have to put my trust in the staffs and the chefs to understand these requirements. The cafe prepared the gluten free bread, toasted under the grill to avoid any issues. The eggs, bacon, mushrooms and beans presented very well. The cafe has a great friendly atmosphere, with staff working very hard to serve most of the customer sitting outside. Would definitely return, but try to get the larger room.

Due to my work, I'm in hotels every week and I've got to say, this was the best hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. In fact, its most definitely the best hotel in the North West!!! If you're looking for exceptional service (people who really care), amazing, clean, boutique rooms (my room was something out of a gucci catalogue), fantastic location and yummy food, this is for you!!!! Love LOVED loved it ❤️ thank you for having me and looking after me so well ... I'll be back in a few weeks. Lots of love Abbey 😘😘 xxx
