Many hotels in Tuscany were closed and it was hard to find this one. When I checked in, the waiter introduced that it was left by the Medici family. There was also a picture introduction. It was an unexpected surprise. The room was fully heated and spacious, and the window opened to see the valley view. Check in There is a welcome card and gift box on the day, and breakfast is available.

We will not be returning. The food was lackluster, spas felt dirty, and the beds exceedingly uncomfortable. I am not someone with back issues and I got tremendous back pain- we had to leave early and they refused to reimburse. I was never offered to speak with a manager nor did they change the bed topper and mattress which was promised to be changed, nothing was done- both of which they cited they did and therefore would not reimburse. A mediocre resort way overpriced. “Thermal pools” like Luke warm bath water.

My wife and I were looking forward to staying three nights at this highly-rated resort. I had made a reservation for a junior suite valley view with terrace. I was taken to a room that looked exactly like the deluxe valley view with balcony that is depicted in the website. I complained that my room lacked the larger terrace and a sofa that was clearly shown in the picture describing the junior suite. I was assured that no, I was in the right room. I showed the receptionist the picture of the suite in my reservation and told her that only a week before, I had called to specifically discuss the difference between the two rooms and was told that while I was definitely in the right room, they would move me to a different one that looked exactly like the one I had reserved but was the same room class. This new and larger room was located in a different wing. The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was good. We only ate at the hotel restaurant one night (which was ok) as we walked to town (about 10 minutes) and ate at La Fontanella for two of the three nights. When I checked out I looked at the bill and noticed that my one dinner charge was duplicated. When I challenged this the receptionist quickly took it off my bill. Were these two incidents honest mistakes? I am not sure but would certainly not return here.

Il complesso è vasto, ben manutenzionato ed insiste su una posizione scenografica. Le piscine, mte e gradevolissime sono sicuramente un punto forte della struttura .Le aree comuni sono curate e tutto il personale è gentilissimo molto accogliente e sempre disponibile ad ogni richiesta. La stanza che ho prenotato èra di discrete dimensioni, ben arredata e disponeva di un terrazzo piantumato molto gradevole (sarebbe utile magari una piccola protezione dal sole che insiste sul terrazzo tutto il giorno). Il bagno di stile grande albergo anni 80/90 è di dimensioni generose e dotato di doccia e vasca. A mio avviso l'unica pecca ma poco influente è relativa la ristorazione che seppur di alta qualità e molto curata offre poca scelta .

Una location curata nei particolari. Camere spaziose, ben arredate, molto pulite. Ottimo servizio. Colazione ricca e varia. Non ho potuto usufruire dei servizi dell’area benessere, ma sembrava assolutamente da provare. Struttura usufruita anche per motivi di business con ottimo servizio nelle meeting room.

Bellissimo soggiorno in struttura alberghiera eccellente , gestita molto bene con uno staff italiano molto professionale, sempre disponibile , attento alle più piccole esigenze. Eccellente servizio al ristorante e cucina ottima. La struttura termale fantastica e perfetta manutenzione con staff sempre attento e disponibile . Ho Fatto tutti i giorni un massaggio e mi sono trovata benissimo , assistita da mani esperte e attente. Che dire eccellente soggiorno , torneremo sicuramente.

Fonteverde vive del passato e si alimenta della location, immersa nella pace e con viste spettacolari . La struttura bella e tenuta. Peccato per la ristorazione e la Spa, si nota una mal gestione e poco investimento su queste aree, che non dipende dal personale .
