We had our wedding reception at Cley Hall Hotel and can highly recommend them. Hannah was absolutely fantastic with all the arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble. Her customer service and communications were excellent. The hotel is of an exceptionally high standard of beautiful decor, comfort and cleanliness. The function room was superb as was the food and service. Hannah and the team are so friendly and helpful that it enabled the whole organisation process to be relatively stress free. All our guests commented on what a wonderful venue we had chosen which was a big part of what made the day so magical. We also stayed in the hotel at the Junior Suite which was absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I would absolutely recommend the hotel for excellent quality and value for money and Hannah and the team for trustworthy and reliable service. Thank you so much for making our special day so perfect.

I misinterpreted the description of Cley Hall and expected a stately home type of residence when in fact it resembled a traditional bed and breakfast boarding house. I feel the name Hall should be omitted as it is not a hall but a Georgian house with a small private garden . On arrival our designated room was not in the main house but in the coach house . The room was very cold and I was disappointed with its size and decor. We were about to turn on the radiator for some heat but the valve wasn’t connected to the radiator and it was cold . We raised this with the night porter and we were immediately upgraded to a lovely room in the main house. We tried to turn on the bedside lamp and it didn’t work. We raised this and it was replaced immediately which was great . However we were disappointed that these things were not checked prior to our arrival . The bed was very comfortable . We were surprised about the amount of traffic and at the speed of the traffic on the road of which there was no warning in the website. Breakfast was adequate . The night porter was excellent and resolved all our problems immediately. He was friendly and polite. Would I stay at Cley Hall Hotel again sadly no . If we had stayed in our original room I feel it would not have offered good value for the price .

A warm welcome as always and once again Gemma was most helpful. The ground floor room we had was lovely with room to relax and even a small kitchenette and dining table. As usual we had an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, good quality ingredients and service was efficient and friendly. Can't wait for our next trip

Attractive clean and comfortable room, good breakfast options. Needs a new light bulb over the front door of the hotel.

Odd hotel, parking is minimal and a bit of a free for all, though thankfully there is a spacious, paid for car park around the corner. The room on the ground floor smelt like the kitchen (bacon/fat) and there was only one large towel in said room. No ability to open the windows to let any fresh air in, or to tun the radiators off. Staff on arrival were fantastic, the room was semk-clean and in reasonable condition. For the price i would say it was fair value.

We had my nanny’s 80th birthday afternoon tea party at the Cley Hall. The room was set out for us perfectly with lovely china. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous (enough to take home too). The children’s afternoon tea option was also fantastic and squash provided. Hannah, Gemma and Ben were always friendly and helpful to deal with. No question seemed too much trouble, they were extremely accommodating throughout. On the day Hannah and Ben were exceptional, thank you both! We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend!
