It was a good stay. Minor hiccups - no shower curtain, cable freezes more than once. Could not get a hold of the front desk.
On our first night, the front desk person did not answer the phone when I called from the room so I had to walk to the office and inform her that I was trying to call but no answer and asked if it was a general line that I was calling. She was reading a book in the lobby area on a lounge chair when I walked in and she replied to me that she did not make it to the phone in time. I was trying to reach her about my room. It was not what I was accustomed to but it was not La Quinta's fault. I am used to getting a suite and failed to look at the details when booking my room. I was not aware that there were smaller suites. I drove to Utah to chill and focus on some work. When I saw the room, I thought it was too cramped. I was told the upgraded rooms were all booked. The person who took over the shift answered the phone when we had to request a shower curtain and batteries for our remote. He was pleasant.
Just some minor hiccups. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. The room was impeccably clean, as always. The view was amazing as well. Breakfast was pretty good as well. We decided to stay another night and in the same room.
