I booked my stay through Trip.com and was double-charged by Courtyard Marriott and Trip.com upon check-out: for anyone reading this, whenever you book through trip.com you should 100% ensure the hotel you're staying at DOES NOT also charge you! Upon catching the mistake on my credit card statement, I called the hotel and was put in a waiting queue and after 20 minutes I hung up and called right back and got through: there's obviously some issue with the phone system or monitoring. After sorting through the issue with the associate, she informed me they needed to get a temporary credit card number from trip.com before they could process my refund: THIS IS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE as it was their mistake to charge me in the first place! The associate asked if I wanted to speak with a manager and I said yes and was put on hold again. Eventually the line picked up but I just heard background noise. All of this was two days ago: still no return call and no refund. I emailed Marriott corporate and they said they would follow-up. I've now spent an hour on this. It's clear associates at this location were not trained on how to handle 3rd-party bookings and good customer service.

This hotel was conveniently located near my work shopping and restaurants. That’s the only plus. The rooms are very dusty. The shower grout lines are either dirty or have mold. I had to kill a fat round bug crawling on the carpet. Worst Courtyard I’ve ever stayed at

My husband and I have stayed here over 15 times in the last 3 years and it has always been our go-to hotel when staying in York The customer service has always been great but this time it was exceptional! From the second we walked in Jacob at the front desk completely took care of us! I had called the hotel several times before this visit and spoke with Jacob as well . He went above and beyond to research our questions and accommodate all of our special requests . He is outstanding ! I also want to give a shout out to Hope the operations manager who also completely took care of us on our check out date . Both went above and beyond and really went the extra mile . The hotel lobby area was perfect for our small gathering in the evening! A wonderful and warm and inviting space to hang out . Our rooms have always been super clean and most often allowing for an early check in . Done hesitate to book here !

I booked a room for a wedding reservation two months ahead and traveled to the hotel to find out that they overbooked and my reservation was canceled earlier in the day while I was traveling. So 11:30 am I received an email from them canceling my two month old reservation. Shame on them for overbooking and ruining my entire trip. I honestly do not recommend his hotel and their practices.

The front desk was very helpful and accommodating, the rooms were nice and clean, the hotel was close to everything we needed to get to, you can’t beat the price, and the experience was a overall 10/10

My family had a great stay it all started with the front desk. We had no issues with checking in and everyone said hello as we all walked in. We will definitely stay here again and tell our friends. Thank you for the great stay. Have a wonderful new years.
