Comfort Suites Near Route 66

Very clean and quiet hotel! Guy at front desk that checked us in was super nice. The kids and I enjoyed the pool and breakfast in the morning! Will definitely stay here again

This was the 3rd time I've stayed there and will stay there every time I'm in that area. I left a necklace my husband bought me on the bathroom counter and was 40 miles away. I called and Latoya took care of me. She went to my room and found it on the counter. She mailed it to me and I couldn't thank her enough.

Room was very clean, staff was great, breakfast was good, but could use a little variety.

The room was clean my only comment was if the bed was a queen bed it was very small. Comfortable but two could hardly fit comfortably. The breakfast had plenty of good choices. We didn’t use the pool and the staff was very greeting.

The pool was warm, the beds and linens were very comfortable, and the rooms were very big. Staff was super friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations on restaurants and helping us find our way around. Only drawbacks were the shampoo and conditioner bottles were both empty (did not contact someone to fix as i was already in the shower) and the breakfast left something to be desired. Both mornings they were constantly out of food, and the only fruit they had were apples that were all wrinkly and mushy, probably because the room with the food was at least 80 degrees. We travel frequently, even more now since my oldest will be out of state for college, and have been trying to find the perfect hotel chain.

called the local hotel number to book my reservation because I wasn’t sure if I could pay extra for an extended late checkout time. The standard late checkout is 1pm and I needed 3pm. My boyfriend had work meetings until 2:30 and we were in town to close on the selling of my house which was scheduled for 4pm. the time of check in we were informed that all the tvs in the hotel were inoperable and that they were working on applying credits for the inconvenience. We didn’t make a fuss, just dealt with it knowing they would give us a credit The following day, while I was visiting family, the staff forced my boyfriend to end his meeting and leave the room at 1pm, even though he explained the arrangement. When I arrived at the hotel I inquired about getting a refund for the $50 I paid for the hours we didn’t get and was told that they couldn’t refund my money because I had somehow booked through *******. That’s when I found out that all their calls are forwarded from the local number to *******. Unfortunately, no one tells you you’re talking to *******. I even called back to see if there was any indicator that I was talking to another company, there was not. Even my emailed receipt had no mention of it. After finding out they couldn’t refund the money I inquired about the credit for the tv issues and they had the same answer, they couldn’t do anything because it was *******. Which, had they told me that at check in, it would have been frustrating but manageable. However , the fact that I was mis lead by the front desk person, is no okay. At this point I’m frustrated for obvious reasons and the staff, including the GM acted as though I was a problem. If they had approached me with kindness and sympathy for the situation, I would have no beef with them, They are simply the messenger of bad news, but instead I got hatefulness. To add insult to injury jury, the hotel was virtually vacant, there was no reason to push us out early. Additionally, when I called ******* about getting a refund, they put me on hold to talk to the front desk and the front desk denied my refund. So, you’re telling me, they have no control on giving a credit, but they can deny me the refund?

The room was clean and comfortable, but the TV was out the entire time we were there. My husband has insomnia, so a TV is very important when we stay in a hotel. Also, breakfast was chaotic and haphazard, with many items not restocked in a timely manner, some items not restocked at all. Also, quiet hours were not enforced adequately.

Stay was pretty good. Only thing is the tv’s would not work and that was disappointing. Room was very clean and staff was nice
