Motel 6 Springfield, IL

There were roaches, the attendant on duty was outside on his phone while guests were at the desk waiting for him.

The corridor stunk of cigarettes. The room smelled clean but in the morning I saw a cockroach running around the room. The pillows were hard but the bed itself was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The staff at the desk were very friendly. There was not iron or hairdryer in the rooms

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The room smelled and there were roaches. Staff were very rude. I was assured I would be refunded. Instead I was charged twice!

Place was clean and staff was friendly. No complaints. The room had a small tv, microwave, and refrigerator. The only amenity was one small bar of soap, not even a clock to set an alarm. Very plain furniture. No counter in the bathroom but was handicap accessible with an accessible shower. About what I'd expect for the price.

Had random man knock on my door saying he was looking for the person that checked in the prior day. There was a wash cloth left outside my door. Across the hall people were arguing loudly.Outside doors were not secure and didn’t need a key to access building. 2 females were arguing about walking their dogs. Staff was barely seen.

Not a clean room. Had a blue sticky substance stuck on the "supposedly" clean bed sheet.

Yup.. I’m good in his place- motel6 .. when times are hard at least we get to hear people that have it harder than us .. plus staff people are amazing, especially the manager in the morning, I don’t know her name but she’s been working in this place for 20 some years and she is very professional and overall a good person.. fixing the washer was a big help , BUT I spent 4 bucks in the dryer and still have to dry my clothes in the heater in my room…but is not a big deal, . I’m happy here and that is what matters.. thanks to few staff members and the good rates in the web… 🙌
