We have always done well with Hampton Inn's but the staff at the Glenstone Ave in Springfield MO went above and beyond in recent stays. We had stayed a week earlier and left a special pillow behind; it wasn't high value but important to us none the less. They had found the pillow and promised to hold it for us when we planned to stay again the following week. When we checked in for the follow-on stay, they had indeed saved and returned the pillow, for which we were very pleased and appreciative. When we checked out after the 2nd stay we found we had a billing issue that had not cleared up. I forget the names for sure but I think maybe Alicia(?) called me today to follow up about the billing issue. I had totally forgotten there was an issue and she stayed on the phone with me while I logged into my CC account. The issue was very much resolved and I appreciated very much the fact that they checked to be sure several days after the fact. It is a great comfort when traveling to have a known entity to stay at where we know exactly how things will go, each and every time, and this kind of customer service is almost a thing of the past. Huge kudos to all who helped us!!

Mark who checked us in was very friendly and professional. When he noticed I had a bottle of wine under my arm he went into the kitchen and brought me a wine glass!! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Love that coffee, tea and fruit water were always available.

Traveled with husband, toddler, 8 year old, and two dogs. We requested a king bed with a sofa bed and it felt tight. Even so, the bedding was comfortable, staff was friendly, breakfast options were decent, and the hotel is conveniently located to pretty much everything! If our family needs a space that size again, would probably stay elsewhere, but for us as a couple or with no dogs, it's okay.
