I’m still trying to find a decent hotel in Springfield, MO. This Courtyard does not meet any criteria. It may be convenient to a very small regional airport, but hardly a draw. There are no restaurants within a 15 minute drive in frustrating traffic. The front desk was rude and ignored me at check in. 2 associates on their computers - neither acknowledged me until they were done with their typing. The only thing they assured me of was that I would not be receiving any maid service. The mobile key system and online Check in doesn’t work. They don’t care about the Bonvoy program. And my physical key card couldn’t open up the exterior doors on the side of the building (even though the typed 8.5” by 11” paper said it would. The person working at the “bistro” avoided eye contact at all times - hoping nobody bothered her. They don’t serve their complimentary breakfast on Sunday ( “sorry for the Inconvenience”). The room was severely out of date, worn carpet, and complete with a Non-flushing toilet. It kind of flushed. And yet it didn’t work. Maybe the biggest insult was the price gauging bottle of “Life” water in the room. $4.00 charge if you drink it. Not so bad in a full service hotel, terrible in a zero service hotel. Skip this one.
