Both people we spoke to at the desk weren’t kind but that we can deal with. We rented a suite with a family room, bedroom and bathroom and between the three spaces there was ONE trashcan. There is NO light in the living area. The head of the shower was broken. The bathroom is the smallest we’ve had in a hotel. The shower pressure was awful and fluctuated when the neighbor flushed their toilet or turned on water. The bar in the shower was so poorly placed I smacked my elbow multiple times just trying to shower. The shampoo smelled AWFUL. The entire floor and our room smelled musky like towels had been wet for days everywhere. The elevator barely worked. The button wouldn’t light up and had to wait a looong time to even arrive. The safety lock on the door didn’t work. When we called the front desk to tell them the phone was missing half the buttons and the cord didn’t stay in the receiver they stated they would have ‘maintence look into it.’ The fridge barely stayed cold, the Keurig spit water all over. This hotel was a 0/5 for us. Absolutely awful.

Was a great experience. The motel did have a serious leak in the water pipes and we had no hot water during our stay. The staff responded professionally during the mishap.

We arrived at 4:04 PM and were told our room was not ready, can we wait 10 or 15 min? There were at least two others waiting. We looked around and had to get a manager to let us in the pool and fitness rooms. He looked into our situation, told us it was unusual but still we waited by the desk. At least three others arrived and were checked in. We were told that someone did not show and they were short handed, the GM had left early knowing this I am sure. Yet here we stood after making reservations two weeks ago. At 4:35 I stepped up to tell them we we’re leaving and we were told the room was ready even though the computer did no say so. After a day on the road and the fact that check in was at 3PM I found this annoying. We are on the road for a month and this is the first we have waited on a room, especially here where Express is part of the name. Perhaps ******* customers are treated differently.

The AC does not work correctly. Spoke with front desk staff who were very helpful. Told us that we could only turn down the temperature 2 degrees and let it caught up then go down 2 degrees in 15 minutes. The room was 79 degrees and stayed that way all night. Those directions did not work at all. Had a miserable night of sleep. The next night it stayed at 78 degrees Other guest rooms kept their doors open trying to cool their rooms. Don’t blame the staff who tried to give us directions on something that should not be complicated at all. They seemed to know it was a problem. Would not recommend this hotel, they really need to update the AC. The staff were helpful, room clean and breakfast was nice. Great location but sadly we won’t stay here again.
