We arrived at 4:04 PM and were told our room was not ready, can we wait 10 or 15 min? There were at least two others waiting. We looked around and had to get a manager to let us in the pool and fitness rooms. He looked into our situation, told us it was unusual but still we waited by the desk. At least three others arrived and were checked in. We were told that someone did not show and they were short handed, the GM had left early knowing this I am sure. Yet here we stood after making reservations two weeks ago. At 4:35 I stepped up to tell them we we’re leaving and we were told the room was ready even though the computer did no say so. After a day on the road and the fact that check in was at 3PM I found this annoying. We are on the road for a month and this is the first we have waited on a room, especially here where Express is part of the name. Perhaps ******* customers are treated differently.
