Review, Rodeway Inn, Bellows Falls, VT. While, en route, my wife called to say the Rodeway had gotten unhappy reviews, especially that the rooms were dirty. Turned out, my room was immaculate, the staff was friendly and the bed was fine. The price was reasonable too. OK, it’s nothing fancy, but then neither am I. Just looking for something decent and affordable. And finding it. You’re well situated for seeing the scenery, near route 91, right on scenic route 5 that runs along the Connecticut River, not too far from Brattleboro which is packed with shops and upscale places to eat. One small complaint: maybe the outdoor security lights could be turned off after midnight so the rooms could be darker for sleeping. 4 stars. Rev. Brown, Cape Cod
