Excellent stay in an amazing well restored palace. Staff is amazing, especially Lori. I had great hospitality, courtesy and polite guest service, delicious homemade cakes for breakfast. Highly recommended

It was a pleasant surprise the moment we arrived in the piazza and entered the small and cozy courtyard. The life has a different pace there, reminding you that, beyond any other things, you should learn to enjoy the beauty that surrounds you in all forms. We found here the refined taste of the 18th century nobility luxury mixed with our 3rd millennium practical amenities. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, making your stay there as comfortable as possible. They are at the same time hosts, guides and friends. The palazzo is placed very conveniently if you want to hover around in he region, either to discover beaches, or to visit the beautiful towns and places and get the taste of the traditional food and drinks of that part of Puglia.

Palazzo de Castro è un prezioso gioiello che si affaccia su una piazza storica del paese. Ci racconta la sua storia grazie alla delicata e attenta cura che i proprietari hanno avuto nel restaurarlo e conservarlo, ogni dettaglio è accuratamente scelto, dai tessuti ai complementi, dalle porte agli affreschi, davvero un ambiente magico , che ti porta in una fiaba principesca. Ma a scaldare ancora di più il soggiorno ci sono le attenzioni della signora Loredana, che ti accoglie e ti coccola con colazioni strepitose e camere pulitissime , la struttura è grande, ma la scelta di avere poche stanze rende ancora più esclusivo il soggiorno, perché ti lascia protagonista assoluto, donando pace e tranquillità.

Palazzo molto elegante giusto per fare un tuffo nel passato propio per chi come noi piace lo stile molto accurato pulito e soprattutto la colazione ricca ...un ringraziamento alla cameriera molto cordiale e disponibile...da ritornare sicuramente nella prossima stagione...un grazie di cuore !!!

Soggiornato 9 giorni e 9 notti in questo magnifico palazzo del 1700! Struttura situata in pieno centro storico di Squinzano. Ad oggi sicuramente il miglior B&B in cui sono mai stato,non solo per la bellezza del palazzo stesso (fiabesco,originale in ogni suo dettaglio,spazioso e persino riservato) ma anche e soprattutto per confort,pulizia e cordialità del personale. Nello specifico ci tengo a ringraziare Loredana e Raffaella per la professionalità e per la simpatia dimostrata,importanti dettagli che fanno la differenza e ti fanno sentire a tuo agio. Buone colazioni. Se possibile ci tornerò sicuramente! In conclusione splendida esperienza! Yuri.

My friend at I were travelling in Puglia in late July/ Early August 2021. We are budget travellers who usually stay in hostels and air bnbs, but we decided we would treat ourselves to one more luxurious night at the end of our travels. I came across Palazzo De Castro on ********** (I think) but I booked a 1 night stay directly through the hotel's website. The staff are so attentive, even before you check in - communicating via WhatsApp bought check-in times and transport advice. I'm from Ireland and staying in a stately manor or castle is usually at 250euro minimum affair. When we arrive at our accommodation in Squinzano we actually could not believe that were were going to get to stay in such a charming town and an astonishingly beautiful and well maintained building for the price of 150euros B&B. It is the definition of a hidden gem. Every corner of each room, the public areas and private bedrooms are adorned with precious antiques. The palace also had mod-coms like TV's, excellent WiFi and AirCon. Powercuts are common in Puglia so you may experience one during your stay, but other than that everything is literally a perfect fairytale. Breakfast was surprisingly generous and there are tones of delicious options to choose from. The location is a short distance from the train station where you can travel easily to Lecce or Bari. There are some fantastic cafés, restaurants and bars min the sleepy little town as well. I'll remember our magical stay here forever! Thank you so much.
