It's a very beautiful place with a stunning view! The architecture is just breath taking with their special kashmiri style wood carving. The staff is very courteous and the place is well maintained with a fabulous location. Totally recommend this place for people who look for a quiet and beautiful place. The Emperor Suite is so aesthetically done with amazing lighting. Oh the heavenly view!

Wir haben 5 unvergesslich schöne Tage auf dem Hausboot verbracht - perfekte Erholung! Das Boot ist wunderschön - komplett aus Zedernholz gefertigt und mit kunstvollen Schnitzereien über und über verziert. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, großzügiges Zimmer (Emperor Suite), perfekt ausgestattet. Wir wurden verwöhnt nach allen Regeln der Kunst - die Wünsche werden von den Augen abgelesen. Die Lage auf dem Nigeen-See ist phantastisch. Völlig friedlich und ruhig. Wenn *** auf dem Dach sitzt und langsam fährt ein Shikara vorbei - mehr Urlaub geht nicht. Der Sonnenaufgang, der sich genau vor unserem Fenster im See spiegelt - magisch! Das Essen ist toll und sehr reichlich. Wer möchte, kann alles mögliche unternehmen (Altstadt, Moghulgärten, Gulmarg oder ********) - alles ist möglich. Aber am schönsten ist es auf dem Dach! Shopping ist auch noch möglich - wer einen Seidenteppich oder ein wunderschönes Pashminatuch sucht, wird auch das hier finden. Wir waren schon einmal da vor 8 Jahren - wir kommen wieder!

We had an amazing experience in the Mascot Houseboat. Such a regal feeling and the food is the best we ate in our Kashmir trip. We would highly recommend this houseboat stay. It’s definitely a must!

The Mascot Houseboat on Lake Nageen was a very restful and peaceful experience. It was lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The houseboat is beautifully furnished and the staff are very attentive and polite. Sitting on the deck in the early morning and watching the mountains and the lake in the quiet time of day is like medidating. It is a must visit for anyone going to Srinagar.

The Houseboat is very tastefully decorated! Emperor Suite was very beautiful! Our stay on the whole was a great experience. The meals were outstanding! Just the wifi and TV was not working. The service staff attended to us very well. The ***ager Imtiyaz all the time asking if we need anything! If u want to enjoy houseboat experience in Srinagar it has to be Mascot Houseboat for sure!

Living in Mascot houseboat was an amazing experience. We did 3nights there unlike people's suggestion to do just 1night in the houseboat and it was an addictive feeling ....we all loved it so so much. It was like a palatial abode floating on the most spectacular part of Srinagar with an amazing staff who did everything to make us feel extra special.

It was such an amazing experience staying here, Me myself is a photographer and my wife Is interior designer and we keep travelling but we couldn't find such houseboat ever, staff is amazing and owner Imtiyaz bhai is very welcoming and trust me guys don't think about anything before booking this stay. Their interior and balcony is superb. we will strongly recommend everyone to come here

We had initially stayed at Mascot Houseboat on March 29th and had kept our options open to see where to stay again in Srinagar in a few more days. The outstanding hospitality didn't let us think further and we booked again at Mascot for 2 more nights. Ths staff, rooms & ambience were simply superb and the location on Nigeen Lake was calm & perfect ! I did have the opportunity to meet the owner, Mr. Tu*** who was very helpful with some requests that I had had. I would definitely recommend Mascot Houseboats to my friends and family. Here's an extra bit of info, You can reach Mascot Houseboats by both road and shikara.

We had a chance to stay at Mascot Houseboat at Nigeen in Lake, Srinagar. I must say it was a splendid stay for us, loved each and every moment spent on this lovely piece of artwork. The boat is very artistically decorated with hand crafted wooden furniture and the cleanliness is impeccable. The staff is very polite and always smiling and ready to walk extra mile for the guests. The breakfast was cherry on the cake, home made and you won’t like to miss it. Last but not the least, Mr Imtiaz made sure to meet and greet us personally. Looking forward to meet him again. Must say, it’s a 5 Star experience to stay on his boat. Never miss the opportunity to stay when visiting Srinagar.
