Canada Houseboats

Hi, We went as a family and had a great time at this houseboat. Bathrooms wear clean, rooms were well maintained and Arif bhai hosted amazing kashmiri dinner! The views in the morning are amazing. Nigeen lake unlike dal is more peaceful.

AWESOME! Everything Was provided, the location is perfect and the services are at their best. Great option! If you are looking for a houseboat here in Nigeen lake, you must consider this amazing houseboat. The food here is also really nice...

We stayed one night in Canada House Boat.. It was a normal experience and not so Great.. We booked the house Boat based on the 4* rating in the reviews... It is located in Nigeen Lake and not at Dallake which was concealed in reviews.. House boat is OK.. It was bit calm and quiet as it is Nigeen Lake.. But get easily get bored as nothing to do in the houseboat unless u people visit as a group..(Nothing to do with Canada House Boat) Only the bathroom was really neat and clean.. The caretaker was lazy and not cleaning the tables properly(in deck as well)... feel bit substandard.. ***ager was supportive... for arranging the shikara when we checked in at late night..

The experience was really great. The care Mr Mushtaq has extremely helpful and even helped with a breakfast at 5 pm. Very good experience and will recommend. Has very good view of the lake from room and bathroom. The room and wash room was clean.

It was a pleasant one day stay at Canada house boat and tempts us to stay again for couple of days. Appreciate Mr.Arif and his Care taker for being genuine and ensuring our comfort during the stay. We were a big family with elders and kids and all felt like home. Out of all our stays during of kashmir trip, Canada house boat undoubtedly and unanimously considered to be our best stay with top notch clean and hygiene standards. Beautiful location with chirping birds dominating the silence of the nigeen lake and the legacy of this houseboat stand still in time.. See you soon :-)

Excellent location. Main house boat has three family bedrooms, dinning hall and seating room. All rooms have excellent view. Neat and clean. Very nicely decorated. Courteous and helpful staff. Simple home made food. Overall a great experience.

Neat and Clean Houseboat, wonderful experience. Caretaker Mushtaq served us with great hospitality. Loved Kashmiri delicacies served on board, meat balls, nadru palak, kashmiri pulav n last not but the least Kahwa.

We stayed one night at Canada houseboat. We reached there by Sikara ride of 15 mins. This houseboat is having three bed rooms and from each room, one can see Lake, which is rare in Srinagar. Decor was very good with nice wooden carvings at all places. Carpets are bit old, but very clean. To view sunset, Nigeen Lake is best with minimum hustle bustle. From the roof of Houseboat, we enjoyed beautiful Nigeen Lake and it's surrounding views. Food is homely and quantity is enough, although less varieties. Caretaker is there alltime to take care everything with smile. Kahwa is available, whenever required. Heating arrangements in the room is very effective. All washrooms are spotlessly clean. Overall, a nice experience.

Stayed here for a night..Amazing place..overall a good experience..Rooms are very neat, clean and well maintained..Food quality superb..and last but not the least the host Mustaq bhai's behaviour is very polite..highly recommended.
