This houseboat is listed as four stars and priced well above the competition but nothing about our stay justifies this. The location on the lake is lovely but the boat features rock hard beds and barely functional bathrooms. The provided dinner and breakfast were the worst we had in India, very small, and an hour and a half late. Imran became very argumentative when we lodged complaints. Advise staying away.

Booked 1 night abd stayed 4 nights houseboat zaindari palace has best location in Dal lake the view was amazing rooms were neat and clean food served on time Imran is the best host he will give you suggestions on how to book car and activities in kashmir recommend

Good place with very hospitable staff bedrooms were spotless food was excellent the boat ride is excellent with music Imran shows us best places in Kashmir very knowledgeable young boy we really enjoyed our stay highly recommended

Our experience at Houseboat Zaindari Palace was truly delightful. The balcony offered a breathtaking view, the food was exceptional, and the beds were comfortable and cozy. Overall, it was the finest accommodation we had during our time in Kashmir.

This houseboat is undoubtedly the finest one I have experienced during my stay in India. Imran, the owner of the houseboat, is truly exceptional. He actively engages everyone in playing games and socializing, and provides excellent suggestions for activities in Kashmir. Moreover, when I fell ill, he not only assisted me in reaching the hospital but also offered me a ride. I cannot find any fault with him or the hostel. I would unquestionably choose to stay here again and would even consider volunteering next time. Thank you for everything.

Had an amazing time at Houseboat Zaindari Palace. The rooms and bathroom were spotless, and the beds were super cozy. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center all chowk. I suggest staying in a quieter area like Houseboat Zaindari Palace . I made some wonderful friends and everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. Big thanks to Imran for all the help!🙏

I had an incredible experience at Houseboat Zaindari Palace! It's an ideal place for solo travelers and those seeking a quite place . The beds were so cozy, and the breathtaking view from the terrace left me in awe. Not only that, but the interiors and common areas were absolutely stunning! Imran and azim were exceptional hosts, ensuring that I felt at ease throughout my stay. I truly loved every moment here and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others. Thank you for such Imran and team for a memorable stay!
