Very good staff rooms are also very clean highly recommend and it is near by Lal chock lal chok is just 5 km away from the hotel and food is also good and hygienic and there is a garden area infront of the hotel wish also good u can enjoy the weather in the garden

This group of hotel & houseboats are owned by Mr.Shafi and his cousins/family. This is budget friendly hotel in Sringar. It has both standard and deluxe rooms. We stayed there for 5nights. Rooms are clean with hot water, wi-fi, heater and with dinner + breakfast options. Food they provide is mostly of limited/fixed menu but feels homely and light. We, family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our Kashmir trip which was all planned and executed by Mr. Shafi. Special mention to our cab service provider Burhan who took good care of us all these days. I personally felt that these guys are truly honest and helpful unlike some money minded travel agents.

Best hotel in Srinagar. My stay with family and friends was truly comfortable and memorable. The food was delicious and the spread was exemplary. We would love to choose Shelter Heritage over any other property. The staff was very polite and mannerful. Room service was great. Moreover the rooms were spacious and with large washrooms which adds to the charm of this wonderful property. Thanks to the management and staff for making our trip a success.

The hotel was excellent; the rooms were impeccably clean, the staff was exceptionally kind, and their hospitality was outstanding. The dinner and breakfast was buffet. They helped us transportation during Kashmir trip They have 2 category of room AC and non Both rooms have heating facility and hot water.

Excellent host, we stayed at Shelter Heritage for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. They guided us at very point for better experience and in budget. They do have house boat at Dal lake too and can assist with the best rates.The rooms are clean.The food was good and the best part is the staff and their hospitality. Really recommend this hotel for stay in Srinagar. Location is quite far from Daal lake. I had medical emergency while staying here, they where very helpful and ensured that we were OK at all times. Would recommend anyone visiting Kashmir on holidays, you check this place out.

Amazing host . And wonderful trip organised by them. would like to share an experience of my Parents who stayed at the boat house in April 2023..... Both my retired parents stayed at the boat house and while leaving to the airport, my father forgot his wallet in the room. When we reached out to the owner over phone, he got the room checked and promptly returned the amount through Gpay. This shows the genuineness and honesty of the boat owner. Really appreciate it!

Great experience.the host arranged all my logistic, permission, houseboat and meals on good price.The cab drivers provided by them was amazing and buffet breakfast and dinner was also great The guidance provided by them was very helpful for us.

Just came to srinagar without any knowledge but when I arrived srinagar.and directly went to The shelter heritage. THEY arranged all activities, transportation, houseboat stay and permission for sightseeing. And food was buffet it was greatest and we got plenty of hot water round the clock, Thanks for arranging the things for us.

The owners were very helpful at satisfying the needy travellers. Arranging rides, logistics, helping to research destinations, permits, etc. etc. The breakfast/dinner buffets were delicious and abundant. My friends stayed in another guesthouse and wanted to move to this guesthouse after they heard about the service here. The guesthouse is a bit difficult to find as there is no such thing as address in Srinagar (not the fault of the hotel owners) it's just off the bridge - as it says on the hotel page - one minute walk ***** the river after you turn left as you get off the bridge. It's the best to get picked up from the airport by the hotel's staff - it'll be more or less the same price if you get a ride with someone else, except they might not know how to get you there. The only minus was the wifi internet, which was slow and not available in all rooms, so one had to go to the router. But I'm sure they can improve that.
