The hotel is old, the service is OK
Environment: average, not far from the airport, shopping is also quite convenient

I booked this hotel by mistake, as I was looking for a hotel in Saint John, not St. John’s. Goes to show, make sure you don’t assume things. Also, don’t book hotels when you’re about to go to sleep and haven’t had good sleep for a couple of consecutive nights. Lesson learned.

It was an ok stay. The room was clean with the only noise coming from the dog across the hall. Check in and out was fast and efficient. One thing that should be improved is that you have to carry your luggage up and down stairs when entering and leaving the hotel. There is no ramp from the check in desk to the main front door. This can be a bit of a nuisance if you have mobility issues. I might consider staying here again if I am in St. Johns again.

This property's web site list dining as one of its amenities, the dining room has been closed for 4 years. The staff did not address the closed dining room at check in, there is not a sign to tell you the dining room is closed.

Very noisy the 2 nights we stayed there. Rooms are very very dated. Hotel needs major renovations and complete overhaul.
