Amazing
SSKYTRAILFacilities: The room size is surprisingly large, I'd estimate around 30 square meters. The balcony view is quite nice. Breakfast can be ordered à la carte. The executive lounge is a bit basic, but it's good that breakfast is included.
Cleanliness: It was pretty good, but it's a bit disappointing that the housekeeping staff didn't even replenish the tea bags or clean the toilet during my multi-night stay.
Environment: It's quite close to the beach.
Service: It was okay.

LLaosangThe rooms are brand new, spacious, and well-equipped. However, some rooms have windows facing a neighboring wall, which is a bit of a downside. Swimming required going to the Intercontinental across the street, which was a hassle. In the evenings, the surrounding area is the most lively part of Malta.

SSutedjo WibowoNice room, bed so comfy, bathroom were clean and super friendly staff . Mathiaas, the restaurant manager, was very accommodating when we pointed out that the grapes weren't good. Foods were delicious, best calamari we ever had.

초초롱로이I specifically requested a quiet room, and they immediately accommodated it! And with the ocean view, waking up every morning put me in a great mood :)
The towels folded cutely on the bed were also adorable.
Everything was perfect, except for the dim lighting in the room. The chair was too old; if it were replaced, the room would feel much more luxurious. Of course, it was still functional.
Housekeeping came to clean the room at 11 AM, but I declined and instead received fresh towels and toiletries. The housekeeper was very kind, and so was the person at the lobby.
The bathroom was clean and spacious. However, the showerhead was dirty and wouldn't stay in place, falling off every time I turned on the water. It seemed many others had dropped it too, as there were many signs of breakage, and the next morning I found it had fallen off and broken. Still, when I mentioned it, they replaced it right away.
Oh, and at night, the lights suddenly went out, which surprised me. A staff member came to reset the circuit breaker for us.
The kitchen room on the reception floor was incredibly well-equipped, so I was able to cook. It had an induction hob, oven, microwave, and beyond just pots, there were also frying pans, various utensils, dishes, and plates, plus a separate dishwashing area. It was all very well-maintained and clean. There was also a water dispenser and a coffee machine, so I enjoyed cappuccinos, espressos, and hot chocolates every morning. It was fantastic!

JJennyJennyJenny.I recently had the pleasure of staying for 3 days at The Westin Dragonara Resort in Malta, which I found to be an excellent choice for accommodation. I booked a deluxe king room with a sea view, and I am grateful to the front desk staff for upgrading my room on the second day, allowing me to enjoy a stunning ocean vista.
The room service was excellent, and the room was very clean. The breakfast was really good, and the staff were very nice. I really enjoyed my trip to Malta.
Additionally, I dined at both Quadro and Palio restaurants, and I must say, both experiences were exceptional.
In summary, The Westin Dragonara Resort is a distinguished 5-star hotel and undoubtedly one of the best choices in Malta.

AAnonymous UserThe cleanliness of the room was very good; everything was tidy and well-maintained. I also want to give a shout-out to the lady at the front desk: since I don't have a credit card, she went out of her way to find a solution for the deposit, even though this wasn't clearly communicated beforehand.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives, making the stay very stressful:
* **Poor Soundproofing due to Connecting Door:** There was a connecting door between my room and the neighboring room. I could hear every word my neighbors said – privacy was unfortunately non-existent.
* **Misleading Air Conditioning:** The central air conditioning didn't work and was also very complicated to operate. After I complained, I was promised that someone would look into it. The fact that they simply put a fan in my room instead felt disrespectful, as I explicitly booked and paid for a room with air conditioning.
* **Incomprehensible Balcony Rule:** The room has a balcony, but smoking is prohibited on it. You have to go all the way to the 8th floor to the reception area to smoke. This is illogical and extremely inconvenient.
* **Lack of Information Regarding Deposit:** Although I had already paid everything in advance via Trip.com, a deposit (credit card or €100 cash) was required upon arrival. There was no prior information about this, which led to unnecessary stress during check-in.

MmakeitcountWe stayed for 4 nights in Room 101. Unfortunately, there was a water leakage issue in the shower. We contacted the night shift staff, and they offered to arrange a room change the following afternoon.
The next day, we spoke again with the Thai staff member at check-in regarding the issue. He responded very professionally, immediately arranged for us to view a replacement room, and even upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi. We truly appreciated his excellent service and helpful attitude.
The hotel facilities are very good. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are free for guests to use, which was a great benefit. The sauna facilities were also excellent, especially after a workout.
However, the breakfast selection could be improved. The hot dishes remained the same every day, and watermelon was only available on one occasion during our stay.
The catering staff were polite and efficient, despite also having to support the kitchen operations.
One of the front desk ladies appeared to be a new staff member. She did not greet guests proactively and seemed to require reminders from her colleagues to complete certain tasks.
Overall, for a 4-star hotel in Malta, the hotel has good facilities and service, but there is still room for improvement, particularly in the catering and breakfast experience.

Check in and all staff are lovely, friendly and helpful.
I had a double standard room (without a balcony) on the 7th floor - everything I needed. The mini bar and snacks were appreciated as I arrived late - they are very good value actually cheaper than the nearest shop! Would of liked the bar to have been restocked during my stay!
The only negative I have is the location it is in a busy late night area and as I arrived at 1am the ecab could not drop me at the door due to restrictions. The noise did not bother me at all & I slept very well every night.

SSergioMendesI HAVE LOVED MY STAY. First time visiting Malta, booked the room last hour and I did not regret. The hotel was beautiful, and I booked the lower categorie room, still was amazing. It is located in the heart of the party district, so if you are in Malta to party. It is ideal. Very silent rooms, great space, comfortable bed. If you are planning a more sexual adventure trip, the ceileing mirrors and some fun chains in the room might help you out with the fun. Either you go with someone or want to meet someone in the island just for fun.
The Spa and piscina are fantastic and a great place to relax or even start the day.
The breakfast buffet options were awesome and everything was freah and delicious.
St. Julian's it is also very central in Malta, so if you want to plan and travel around, the location is fantastic to be able to see so many other places in the Island.
When it comes to the service and staff. Everyone was impeccable. From the reception team, to the security, to the waiters and even the cleaning team. Everyone was always very nice and helpful. Met Sandra, on my arrival, and coincidentally she was also working 3 days later when I was checking out, She did a great job. The Hugo's group have a few more of their places around, Hugo's Pub, Bacco by Hugo's, the Hugo's Burger and others, but these were the ones I also checked out and again, everything was great.
I tolally recommend a stay in here. 10 out of 10 for me.

JJulesrugbyLovely hotel on the edge of the bay, opposite St Julian’s just in front of the new Hard rock hotel. Multiple restaurants available on-site to suit all tastes. Room was spacious with a table and chairs. Balcony overlooking the sea with table and chairs to chill out at. Breakfast was fabulous, literally anything you fancied including waffles. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa and swimming pool were great with lots of space for our visit. Outside pools too cold for us in February but will be amazing in the warmer weather. Bus stop directly outside the hotel with easy walking to shops, bars and restaurants. Looking forward to returning soon
