The location is in the midst of the nightlife in St Julian's, so expect some noise flowing over to the rooms. You can mitigate this by asking for a room that faces away from the hustle and bustle, but just that this will then not have any views. Service wise was good but could be better - I was going to move over to the Intercontinental after my stay here and considering that both hotels are under the IHG group, I had expected them to help with the move. However they asked me to reach out to Intercontinental on my own.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to the coastline. There are many restaurants and shops around it. It is convenient to travel. Bolts to various attractions only cost more than ten euros at most. Although we arrived at the hotel in the morning and couldn't check in until the afternoon, the hotel stored my luggage and provided a free buffet breakfast. The service was very good.

The service was good. We had an early flight on our last day and the staff at the reception kindly arranged breakfast takeaway for us. However, the hotel location is only good for people that like to party since there are a lot of bars and club’s downstairs and therefore during the night it’s pretty loud also due to the bad sound isolation of the hotel. If you want to explore the city or the harbour more I suggest stay in Sliema or Valletta instead. The breakfast is ok. The steam bath in IHG doesn’t work which is quite a shame.
