Amazing
SSKYTRAILFacilities: The room size is surprisingly large, I'd estimate around 30 square meters. The balcony view is quite nice. Breakfast can be ordered à la carte. The executive lounge is a bit basic, but it's good that breakfast is included.
Cleanliness: It was pretty good, but it's a bit disappointing that the housekeeping staff didn't even replenish the tea bags or clean the toilet during my multi-night stay.
Environment: It's quite close to the beach.
Service: It was okay.

GGuest UserOverall, we had a pleasant stay and the hotel left a good impression. The building is new, modern, and well maintained. The reception staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The restaurant staff were also kind, and the food was good – there was a nice variety, including fresh juices, coffee, and the option to order one dish per person from the menu daily, which was a big plus.
Regarding housekeeping, bed linens were changed regularly every few days, which was appreciated. However, the overall cleaning was not at the expected level. In particular, vacuum cleaning was not done during our stay unless we specifically requested it. This is something that could definitely be improved, especially for longer stays.
A major downside was that it was not communicated anywhere in advance that the rooftop pool would not be operational. This is the only pool in the hotel, and it was closed for renovation during our stay. To use a pool, we had to go to a neighboring building via a specially constructed bridge, which was not very convenient and did not meet expectations.
Additionally, the indoor pool and fitness facilities are not located directly in the hotel but in a neighboring one, and they are relatively small considering they are shared between two large hotels.
The hotel is located on a fairly busy and noisy street. With the windows closed, the noise is reduced, but it is still something to keep in mind.

GGuest UserIt was a pleasant stay and the hotel was clean and had a modern finish. The weather wasn't great so the indoor pool despite advertised as kids under the age of 13 not allowed after 6pm were still in taking their dips during such days. Otherwise, food is great and b'fast was lovely!!

PPassportPalsJust came back from a girls’ getaway at The Westin Dragonara Resort and it was absolutely amazing! 💃🌴 From the airport, we took a bus that dropped us right in front of the hotel 🚌 — super convenient!
The hotel is located right by the sea 🌊, with a heated pool 🔥, a beautiful terrace with direct access to the water, and stunning views all around 😍. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and spotless 🛏️✨ — just pure comfort and style.
Service was truly 5⭐️+, everyone so kind and professional 💫. The food was delicious 🍝🍷, and we loved being able to order right from our sun loungers using a QR code 📱 — they brought everything straight to us. Total relaxation! 🥰
The location couldn’t be better — close to nightlife 🎶🌙, restaurants, and bars. We were just a 5-minute walk from the old town area where everything happens. Perfect for a fun night out with the girls! 💃✨
The weather in October was just ideal — not too hot, not too cool, just perfect for chilling by the sea and exploring ☀️🌤️.
I’m 100% sure I’ll be back here next October — same time, same place! ❤️

GGuest UserThis was a really lovely hotel. The breakfast was buffet style, and everything was delicious, with a few different items offered each day. The staff were very kind, and they helped make my trip a comfortable and memorable one. While buses are the main mode of transport in Malta, the bus stop was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which was quite convenient.

MmakeitcountWe stayed for 4 nights in Room 101. Unfortunately, there was a water leakage issue in the shower. We contacted the night shift staff, and they offered to arrange a room change the following afternoon.
The next day, we spoke again with the Thai staff member at check-in regarding the issue. He responded very professionally, immediately arranged for us to view a replacement room, and even upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi. We truly appreciated his excellent service and helpful attitude.
The hotel facilities are very good. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are free for guests to use, which was a great benefit. The sauna facilities were also excellent, especially after a workout.
However, the breakfast selection could be improved. The hot dishes remained the same every day, and watermelon was only available on one occasion during our stay.
The catering staff were polite and efficient, despite also having to support the kitchen operations.
One of the front desk ladies appeared to be a new staff member. She did not greet guests proactively and seemed to require reminders from her colleagues to complete certain tasks.
Overall, for a 4-star hotel in Malta, the hotel has good facilities and service, but there is still room for improvement, particularly in the catering and breakfast experience.

SS|RFirst time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful. Sopo, at breakfast ensured we had what we needed and Mina was fast to offer her assistance! Pradeep would make sure we were satisfied with our food and always took care to tell us what was where.
The room was clean and very spacious. We had no issues!
The hotel is in a fab place to explore with a lot of amenities near by. I would definitely recommend Intercontinental and would defo be staying here again.

GGuest UserMe and my partner stayed here for a weekend getaway jacuzzi suite. Absolutely amazing it couldn't be any better loved every moment of it. Breakfast was phenomenal, service over all 10/10. It's on a strip so you will hear music at night , didn't bother me at all. Lively, will definitely love it if your a party person. There was a slight smell in the hall ways aswell but once again it didn't bother me. Highly recommend beautiful hotel. I can't find words to describe how beautiful it was.

GGuest UserThe breakfast was excellent. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Although the hotel is old, the room was ergonomically furnished and very peaceful. The fact that all rooms have a sea view adds a special touch to the room.
