Definitely a place to find serenity within the town of St Lucia. Upon arrival we received a heartly welcome but not much said unless the last R500 of our stay was paid. When taken to our tent (Luxury) there were planks missing on the deck. We were told that they are in the process of fixing it. We arrived Saturday 23 March 2024. On Wednesday 27 March 2024, I stepped back to take a photo and stepped into the hole which was left by the missing plank. I hurt my ancle and hip. My friend went to the Manager Yvonne to advise that I fell into one of the holes and they should perhaps put some tape or something. The next morning the planks were replaced. We left on Sunday 31 March 2024. Up to now Yvonne did not approach me personally to ask whether I was okay. It actually felt as if I was being ignored. The staff cleaning the kitchen and tents were out of the books. They were friendly and helpfull and went out of their way to make you feel at home. With having teens one of the major considerations were wifi. The Luxury tents did not have wifi and you had to go down to the budget tent area to actually connect to wifi. Upon questioning it, we were told that they still need to install and extender. There were two incidents in terms of friends dropping off my daughter and the girls chatting in the communal area (they were asked to move to the budget tents due to noise levels). At no stage was it addressed with us two adults, but the kids were approached directly. I would have expected that I booked the accommodation, address it with me. The "noise control" also just applied to certain guests - my perception. Besides the mentioned hick ups, we still had a good stay but I will definitely NOT recommend you going there with kids or teenagers. Management involvement is also very scares and limited.
