Coral Divers

Adequate facilities and accomodation if your main objective is diving and nothing else. Bare bones rooms that are a little cramped and not the cleanest. There were stains on curtains and bedding, and the bathroom is outside of the room, which is a little uncomfortable in the middle of the night. I think using the term PADI 5 Star so prominently on the webpage is misleading for someone not familiar with the PADI system, as it creates the impression of much better accomodation and facilities for those not part of the diving community. The food from the restaurant isn’t always great, and there is very limited WiFi (1GB for 7 days). The location is also a fairly far drive from the beach which doesn’t make it a very convenient stay. The reception also closes, so make sure you settle any bill the night before if you are checking out early. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hot chocolate was delicious. The mortuary style fridge was also very cool.

It was amazing - we did our advanced first then nitrox courses, the dive sites are amazing and the staff are helpful. We will definitely be back, so many dive sites to chose from, rooms were clean, weather was great! Swim with dolphins, Stunning!

We did our rescue course and stayed in a cabin. The course was really well organised, our instructor (Leon Draai) made sure we could do the course and dive as much as possible during our stay. He was passionate, patient and put efforts on doing the course as interesting as possible. Regarding the accommodations, the cabin was really confortable and convenient. They clean it every single day which is very nice when you have the feeling of bringing back in all sand from the beach everyday. With the course a buffet is available every morning and evening. The ladies were very friendly and did their best to accommodate to the different food restrictions we had (vegetarian for some and gluten-free for others). Finally the staff was very friendly and we spent a beautiful week diving and learning new skills!

Wonderful spot - place was clean, staff were very friendly and always smiling. Restaurant food was delicious! Diving was great too! Highly recommend this place to everyone! Thanks to everyone at Coral Divers who made it so good! I cannot wait to go back and dive some more!

We always have a wonderful time at Coral Divers. We stayed in the Twin Std Cabin with Private Bathroom, which was very comfortable and clean. The diving is very well organized and on time. We love the self-catering kitchen facilities. The staff are very helpful and friendly and overall, a great place to stay and value for money.

Brilliant service!!! Treated us like royalty from the first email when I booked to the second we left. We will definitely book with Coral Divers in the future. I don't think they could have done anything better to make our stay more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone involved.

A family road trip with the final destination being Sodwana, to do my Open Water 1 and my brother to do his Advanced Divers. Coral Divers came up tops for many reasons, they have an up to date and informative website, accommodation options were part of the package, and they are conveniently located in the park. We chose the tent accommodation. It was comfortable and the tents are thoughtfully positioned close to the sparkly clean ablutions. They offer various catering options. We made use of the restaurant for most of our meals and found it to be convenient, well priced and tasty. The resort was planned around the diving culture, and it added to the social atmosphere of the space. The design of the space made it easy as a complete beginner to get into the routine of things - it was a seamless experience. Everyone was helpful and friendly, any questions we had (in person and via email) were answered thoroughly and thoughtfully. Overall, great facilities, well maintained grounds, and the space was kept clean and neat the entire duration of our stay.

We had the most amazing experience in Sodwana Bay with Coral. We completed our 4 day open water divers course with our instructor Bernard/Berry and loved it! He was so enthusiastic, passionate and helpful whilst remaining extremely professional and safety focused at all times. He really helped us fall in love with diving and ensured we felt confident underwater. We highly recommend Coral for beautiful diving and amazing service around the hotel and on the beach. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly, but Berry truly made our trip special. We will definitely be back to complete our advanced diving course. Highly recommend Coral Divers :)
