The hotel is old, don't have expectations, the room facilities are similar to express hotels, and the location is average. What I saw when I checked in did not match the Ctrip promotional pictures at all. The windows can only be opened a little bit, so you can't see the outside, it's stuffy

A magnificent building and a very British atmosphere. English breakfast, but no beans… A little far from the tea center of Saint Helier, you should plan around a 20-minute walk.

Came with my brother and sister and we loved it here! The staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast and all other food options at the restaurant were top quality and amazing! The room I booked was a single bed room and it was super cozy, the only issue i had was with other guests making plenty of noise which is with no fault of the hotel itself. The pool areas and saunas were clean and a dream to be around. Shout out to Ethan and Francis who made our trip very memorable, you guys were awesome!

What a beautiful hotel. Extremely clean (and seemed to be recently refurbished). Could not fault anything. Beautiful grounds. Excellent staff who were very welcoming, with a special mention to Benard, who went out of his way to be helpful. Can't wait to return. And the pool has to be seen to be believed.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and we had a great time. The hotel is beautiful and the spa is one of the best I’ve ever been to. The rooms are nicely decorated and contain all the amenities you’d expect. We had breakfast included and the food was great with plenty of choice. All of the hotel staff were super helpful and friendly and were happy to assist us in any way they could. Overall we had a great visit and would definitely recommend to others.

I booked 3 rooms in February for a stay in June. I requested a nice view for my sisters 60th Birthday. On arrival I was horrified as the view from her one was the worst I’ve very seen. It was of an industrial building with a container approximately 35feet tall! My sister was then asked to move to an equally bad room on the floor below by Gavin. There was no apology and in factGavin then called her and scared her by saying if she had a shower she should be careful as she may set if the smoke alarm. She didn’t sleep that night. The next day I asked for a decent room for her for the inconvenience and she was moved. Needless to say this debarkle spoiled our holiday. We wouldn’t eat dinner at the hotel and couldn’t relax there at all. The Hotel is very tired and needs a good update and Gavin needs training on how to deal with guests.

The hotel is beautiful in every way. And the staff is top-notch. I want to note Joshua at the front desk and Monicah in the restaurant. Joshua took time to recommend a walk, and Monicah went above and beyond in the restaurant. She was truly extraordinary, Kudos to them.

The Hotel dr France provided a brilliant stay for us whilst in Jersey. A 15/20 minute walk takes you into St Helier. We loved the swimming pool and associated facilities including the outdoor sun beds. The only downside was the restaurant which has a menu, in our view, that is uninspiring and expensive. Fortunately St Helier provides lots of alternative eating opportunities including two hotel restaurants within close walking distance.
