Hotels near Bugibba Water Park, St. Paul's Bay

I loved it so much the first day that I paid a little more and upgraded to a higher floor, and the view was shocking! The cheap rooms here are even better... Forklifts and tower cranes were going back and forth right before my eyes. ㅜㅜ Are Trip.com and the hotel in their right mind, seeing them selling this for money? The noise starts at 8 a.m. and continues until sunset.

Our stay at Sunseeker Holiday Malta was generally okay, but there are a few areas that could be improved. We booked a hotel apartment with room service. The air conditioning wasn't very effective during the day, although it worked much better at night. There were no extra duvets provided, which would have been useful. Room service and cleanning every 2 nights. Also, room have ants The apartment was missing some basic kitchen essentials such as salt, sugar, pepper, and drinking water. These are small, inexpensive items that would make guests feel more comfortable. The apartment was also advertised as having a washing machine and tumble dryer, but neither was available during our stay. The TV in the room was very small, which made it difficult to enjoy watching it from the bed. The swimming pool was smaller than expected. Overall, our stay was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. However, providing the advertised facilities and adding a few basic amenities would make the experience much better for future guests.

The room was impressive and super comfortable. We took the one that contains 2 bedrooms. It has also 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. It is not close to valletta or st. julian neighborhood with public transportation but with taxi yes. We found everything that we need. It has a rooftop with a good sunrise view also.

Great location, it's easy to hail a taxi right outside. If you prefer taking the bus, you can walk a few minutes to the main road to catch one. The room was very comfortable, and the front desk service was quite warm and welcoming. The room was cleaned daily.

I had a fantastic stay at Gillieru Harbour Hotel — I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, relaxed, and honestly spoiled (in a good way). What stood out: • Location: Absolutely unbeatable. The hotel overlooks the harbour in St. Paul’s Bay, which means beautiful sea views as soon as you step out onto the balcony. It’s also just a short walk to lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the bus stops.  • Cleanliness & Comfort: The rooms were spotless; every day the room was cleaned and made up to a high standard, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms modern and tidy. Little touches (like fresh water in the room) made a difference.  • Staff & Service: The people working there were friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care. Reception was informative, restaurant & pool‐bar staff were welcoming and always ready to assist. It felt like a family‑run hotel in the sense that service had warmth.  • Facilities & Views: The sea view rooms are worth the extra cost — being able to look out over the bay, watch the boats, enjoy sunrise/sunset from your balcony is a treat. The pool terrace is lovely for lazy afternoons, with a pool bar, sun‑loungers, and great lounging space.  I highly recommend this and would love to come back again!

I took a room with breakfast package (which is clearly marked when booking on the site) + proof on my receipt but I was told that breakfast is not included. I did show the receipt indicating this but the information the hotel received was not correct indicating that no breakfast. They don't want to hear too much. Anyway, so as not to make a fuss about it, I said OK. If I knew, I took another formula. A little disappointing from trip.com

Gym 1/5 - access to the Caniflor Hotel gym, sister hotel is given, but the equipment is all old, broken or insufficient. Better to just go to the outdoor park. Sauna 3/5 - again at Caniflor hotel, but need to ask to use in advance. I didn’t end up using - but it looked OK. Sleep - 2/5 - mattress springs were a bit worn, could hear the water pipes most of the night. Breakfast - 3/5 passable breakfast, at the price point of the hotel, it’s good value. Bread, some salad, ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, some fruit, eggs, beans, bacon and sausages. Coffee and juices to drink. Beach - Just the rocky beaches of St Paul’s nearby. Staff very friendly

Visited here on October,The room was pretty decent and location was outstanding the ocean waves and birds literally the best morning view one can witness, the staff was nice n friendly, wasn’t too impressed with breakfast but meh 7/10

We have just come back from our holiday and were pleased to stay at this hotel. Very good value for money! FREE WIFI! With good reception in rooms too! We had our towels cleaned every day, rooms are comfortable and great for this price we paid. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good. The indoor swimming pool is very warm, however I was disappointed that there was no sauna (in some old website listings it was mentioned that they did have sauna at some point, but not longer the case). Jacuzzi was very warm in the first few days, but with luke warm water the rest of our stay. 7 euros city tax for 2 people. They offer evening entertainment 2-3 times a week with some live music, which was enjoyable. The hotel is very clean and smells pleasant. Nice cocktails at the bar. Generally I would recommend this hotel, you get what you pay for!
