Il Palazzin Hotel

Good hotel. Generous continental breakfast. Excellent location, near the bus stop. The room was a little sloppy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We arrived on Saturday at 9 pm, no problem with check-in, plenty of time available. I asked for information about the cruise they gave us with a 3-night stay (booked via a link sent to us by email). They explained which bus to take and also which ferry it was. You'll take the 90-minute harbor cruise tour in Sliema (the harbor and the three cities). The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of savory options; the sweet option included a selection of cakes and mini croissants, yogurt, cereal, fruit, and juices. The savory option included cold cuts, cheese, three types of eggs, one type of sausage, bacon, a rotating selection of potatoes, and stuffed tomatoes. We had a super-large breakfast, and I just love dinner, skipping lunch. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. I managed to sleep (which is usually impossible for me). The location is excellent, both for those who want to experience life by the sea and for those who want to visit the island. The station, just a few minutes' walk away, offers several bus connections. I'd say we had a great time.

The hotel is quite nice in the common areas, but the rooms need updating and better cleaning.
