We stayed her in mid October. We were given a nice large double room with huge balcony. The roof top pool was lovely. Very quiet. Nice terrace below the pool but bar not open. We had breakfast in the Topaz. Typical holiday breakfast but perfectly adequate. Staff very friendly and helpful in both hotels. The area is not the nicest holiday area but not far to walk to the sea front, the square, etc. Nice pub just up the road, the Anchor. On the day we were leaving, we were advised we could keep our room on until our taxi was due at lunch time. This was greatly appreciated. This was a good value break.

Blisko sklepy i promenada w Buggibie.

EN: My friends and I booked a "Triple Room" in this hotel via Air Malta Holidays and we are really disappointed by the quality of it. The hotel provides no drinking water. The fridge is very small and takes all night long to refresh a bottle of water. The AC is noisy. The bathroom is small and dark. The soap is not refilled daily. (The container is fixed with tape, and fell off sometimes) There was also a power cut on part of the plugs in the room which prevented us from charging our devices. The water pressure of the shower is the worst quality I've never seen. Whether during the day, in the early hours of the morning or at night the water pressure is just so low that you cannot take a shower properly. We complained to the receptionist, they called the service agent to check/fix but the agent told us that if any other room is using water, it will lower the pressure and the hot water and it can't be fixed. They also changed our check out time from 11am to 10am without notification before the trip, causing problems on our program schedule. The swimming pool on the rooftop and the receptionists friendly attitude (One of them can speak french) are the only good things about this hotel.

Once a month for the last 3 months, I have been booking and recommending to friends, to book into this hotel for our monthly outing to Malta (from Gozo.) I book between 6 and 8 rooms a month and have been very pleased (and written good reviews,) however, my recent visit left me very upset and disappointed. There is a new receptionist (Simone? has been there 3 weeks,) who is extremely rude, arrogant and autocratic in the way that he handles guests. After our night out with friends, we congregated in the lounge area for a few night caps. I decided to go to bed and asked the night receptionist (Joseph,) to accompany me to be door, to open it with my key (the lock was difficult to open.) He showed me the trick to opening the door and I asked him to give the key to my husband so he could get in later. At around 5:30, I awoke and realised my husband was still downstairs. I got dressed, left the door ajar and headed downstairs, where he was chatting with the remaining group of friends. He said he was just coming, so I went back up stairs but kept the door ajar for my husband, as I know the lock is difficult. A couple of hours later, I went to go to reception, to see if I could do a late checkout. I couldn't find the key anywhere in our room, so at reception, I asked if a key was left in the lounge. This is when the new receptionist showed his colours. He told me, that the place had been cleaned up before he arrived and that they only found a mask, which they discarded. I then started to sort the late checkout. He phoned reservations and said, that late check out was available for 25 euro. The room I booked, was only 30 euro, so I asked if it was possible to book an extra night instead. He accused me of lying and said it was not possible to book a (triple) room (which is what I booked,) for less price than a double room. I insisted that I was correct. I asked him to check the booking and there it was, 3 triple rooms, booked at 30 Euro each. With no apology, he informed me, that if I wanted that price, I would have to check out and check back in again at 3?! I decided to just book the late checkout. I paid in cash and wasn't given a receipt, which I found unusual. Whilst out for breakfast, my husband rang me and I asked him about the room key. He said, to his recollection, he wasn't given the room key. When I asked the rest of our group, they also have no recollection of him being given the key. When I returned, my husband and friends were searching the lounge area (again) to try and find the key. The receptionist was not interested in anything I had to say. He did not believe me, that I had asked the night receptionist to open the door. He showed no interest in my problem, with casual looking around and in a dismisive manner, he concluded that I must have the key. His accusing manner was quite upsetting. I packed the suitcase and checked out. The receptionist phoned the manager and the cost of the key happens to be the 50 euro deposit (that everyon

Actually staying g here right now .having been coming to malta for over 20 years I have to say this is without a doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. All the staff are really helpful and friendly , the rooms are quality and are spotlessly clean .to top it off there is a lovely outside terrace and rooftop pool , also spotlessly clean . Dont hesitate in booking yes you might have a 6 min walk to the square but its worth it .well done team Oriana 👏

Our first impression of this hotel was good, it was clean and had nice staff. The rooms are large with good balconies. We were there during a heatwave so rooms were hot even with Air con and a fan but didn't really bother us. The rooftop pool was nice and we enjoyed spending mornings and evenings there. I felt this hotel was really good value for money if you don't go expecting the ritz. Which we didn't. Its basic, clean had a fridge and hairdryer in rooms and its close to bars and restuarants. This was our first time in St Paul's and found streets a bit dirty and run down but again didn't bother us as the promenade is lovely and we found 2 amazing restuarants nearby. Its in a very good location for going to Gozo. If I was to return to Malta I would stay here again. Tip its good location for 2 good beach bars Nine lives and Cafe del mar

Bushaltestelle in allen möglichen Richtungen ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg.

I've stayed here twice now. I only booked the 2nd time because I had to change my time in Malta from 2 weeks to one week and the Radisson wanted more for one than two? I've stayed here before and I have always found the hotel itself to be exemplary for the money. The rooms are big, the pool area is just fantastic especially if you want peace and quiet. I knew what I was getting when I booked it, that's WHY I booked it. The staff are delightful, pleasant, polite, well spoken and professional. My problem with the Oriana is the parking is beyond a nightmare and I don't like the local area, I found it to be a tad 'rough' looking. However that is not the fault of the hotel and is just my personal opinion I would add after a few days I started to regard it as rustic Maltese and part of the overall experience lol I also really enjoyed Wiseguys gym just a few streets away, a proper old school gym and only 5eur a day. So if you are looking for a decent hotel at more than a fair price...the Oriana is a good choice and I recommend it. Would I go back again? I might..its my birthday in March and I was thinking a trip to Malta might be in order especially after Christmas in Budapest was cancelled due to covid. I loved hotel, the room, I liked the work done by housekeeping and I really liked and appreciated the reception staff? I was there in August, I suggest a room at the front ...we were in 4435 ( I think) and were very happy there. Oriana is worth the money charged.. although I'd give breakfast a big miss and head to any of the multitude of places enroute to the Square for a far better and cheaper breakfast. Other than that excellent value for money at the Oriana but please know St.Pauls is not a beach resort.
