I stayed here during the week, I couldn’t fault anything. The gym & spa were immaculate and the staff were so friendly. I visited the Old Poste House on the evening for dinner which was fast service and lovely food. I would definitely be staying again.

Check in needed photo ID - think this can only be because they get a lot of trouble. Rude staff - stared at our table all evening. Dreadful food - ordered burger for lunch, not sure it had ever come from a cow. Beef for evening meal - chewy and tasteless, yellowing soggy broccoli. Breakfast in the morning was not much better - couldn't cut the bacon and sausage was like the burger, cheapest you could buy wholesale. Wine selection was awful. Building itself looks rundown as does the general clientele. Strong smell of ****.

very poor place to stay, run down, infested with bugs, poo on the floor of the room. management clearly not takin responsibility based on some of the very disturbing reviews on here being answered in a disgusting manner. i feel this is a smash and grab money operation. quite happy to let ppl stay, take their money then not worry about what the stay was like. WAKE UP

Good value for money for a work trip. Food OK but Breakfast was excellent. Rooms relatively small but well equipped with the usuals and the room was quiet.Staff were lovely, clientele were mostly working away from home and the bar was quite lively. Didn’t have chance to use the gym or pool. Not a great phone signal on EE and the hotel internet was someone over used in the early evening. Would use again if I was in the area

The staff were very friendly and the bar area was nice. But the rooms stunk, it was outdated and scruffy. The room were freezing as the radiators didn’t come on, after playing with them for ages. The whole place just need a revamp. Will not stay again.

Fantastic Property , The food was really great and the bar was outstanding with service , i don't really review hotels but this property is FAB from the helpful reception desk to the gym team. my family will definitely return as the kids loved the pool. PERFECT FAMILY DESTINATION!

Avoid this place. Staff appalling. Rooms stink, are freezing and the missing/broken handles kn the radiator mean they can't be adjusted. Holes worn in the thread bare carpets. Towels where stained. Bed is awful can feel the springs in the knackered mattress. Just what I didn't need.

The mattresses are uncomfortable and you can feel the springs poking into your back. The springs crinkle loudly each and every time you move. The carpets are dirty, the windows aren’t fitted properly, the shower pressure is poor. Overall, hugely disappointing. I would not recommend to visit. Avoid at all costs.

Very poor rooms , dirty had to ask for room to be cleaned on arrival, bed uncomfortable , no Tea or coffee replaced, Towels replaced after having to go to reception, noisy people talking in carparks and corridors no Wi-Fi signal not worth the room rate by a long shot wouldn’t stay there again
