What nice place to rest. The room was big and comfortable. Without any noises. Lots of parking. Will be perfect with good weather. With rain was a pity the room a little away from the main building. Next time take umbrella 😊☔ A special note to the breakfast with gluten free and diary free options. Very good.

I have just held a 50th birthday party here for my husband and the venue was perfect. Lovely room set out to my requirements, excellent bar service and delicious buffet. The venue also offers excellent accommodation for any guests wishing to stay. Would definitely recommend for any celebrations.

Had a wonderful overnight stay here, with my husband. The staff absolutely enhance the experience, from arrival, to drinks in the bar and an evening meal, everyone is friendly, welcoming and helpful. An extra shout out to Jenna and Alisha, who Healing Manor should be proud of, I hope you appreciate them! Great chefs too, the food is amazing, and all presented beautifully. It is a welcome change to go somewhere were there are plenty of staff, all working hard too. We loved our huge room in the courtyard, and slept well. Breakfast was equally as good, with great food, and great staff again.Thank-you, we hope to return

I was lucky to win a recent Facebook competition at Healing Manor for a Valentine Afternoon Tea, we went yesterday afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Great Ambience as well. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely hotel, very noisy especially on bin day (Tuesday morning), rooms are spacious and clean. Within easy travelling distance from town, have electric charge points and plenty of parking.

My lovely mum’s wake was held their on 31st of jan and we were all disappointed with the service on which was. a really sad. day for us all The food was ok it was just mainly the female manager and the lack of service , which disappointed us all, even my uncle said it was a miserable room and people couldn’t find a chair . When my brother booked the room he stated that he wasn’t sure how many people would turn up and the manager said we could open the doors and sit in the adjourning room. and even on the day I asked if it was ok still but when a few of us went in the other room a miserable short haired woman rudely told us off and stated that table was set up for a later party of people and asked us for our.plates It was a sad day enough for us all and it upset me and her grandaughters even more and then she was stood a r the bar glaring at us and made us feel uncomfortable No staff even went around making sure people were ok either, terrible service and even the night before when we. went to take photo frame they was unhelpful too

Specifically, my disappoin**ent stems from my nana’s wake in the Cadogan Suite with around 40ish people. You catered food for 30ish people but It was agreed with my family that the suite's doors could be opened up to accommodate additional guests if necessary. Unfortunately, the arrangement of a table for another party later on in the evening obstructed the available space, leaving little room for our own needs. There were no chairs or tables for us in there, which left us having to pop a few glasses and plates at the end of the set table since we could not easily squeeze past the tightly arranged tables in the other room (there were only around 27 chairs around 3 large round tables). So it was either that or plates being put all over the floor. We’d popped them at the end and ensured there was nothing underneath them that could mark the table, I may add. When this issue was brought to the attention of a manager, a lady with a Bob and glasses (who waded herself round the tightly arranged tables with a face like thunder) she sternly stated that we could only stand in that half of room with nowhere to sit or put our drinks down. There was a lack of compassion and professionalism - no introduction to herself, no niceties or politeness at all. Her interaction was not accommodating, she did not provide any solution to the situation or offer any additional chairs. My partner even sat on the carpet to eat! She then walked away, and then stood at the bar area with her arms crossed in a bullish stance, which made us feel uncomfortable. After a hard, emotional day, we thought that we would be well looked after, but we left feeling quite upset. We had no choice but to stand just behind the dividing doors which led to the other half of the suite because it was extremely tight in that room leaving us nowhere else to stand. I work in hospitality, and that table that was set for the evening meal could’ve easily been set within 10-15 minutes. So I don’t understand why it needed to be there at that moment in time. If you couldn’t plan to fit more people in as a precaution (as discussed) due to having another function in the evening, then you should’ve said you couldn’t cater for our needs. As a FoH staff, I make sure that everyone feels looked after, too. We felt the level of service fell short of expectations. There were instances where we felt the staff could have been more attentive to our needs. Nobody walked around (maybe because even they couldn’t fit around) to check if everything was okay, more drinks etc. No greeting people on the way in or thanking them on the way out. Nothing. Honestly, it wouldn’t have been any different to if there were no staff in the room at all. The waiter was even stood behind the bar with his head in his hands. What a shame, we had high hopes for healing manor after since they have 4* And 2 rosettes - we never received this service….
