A very average hotel, relatively old, not very cost-effective at this price. Because my children were going to a competition, I booked this hotel. Parking is not free, 20/night. Broadband is free. The biggest problem is that the sound insulation is very, very poor. There were quite a lot of people checking in that day, and the corridor manager said it was causing trouble. The boy in the next room seemed to be drunk and was beating the wall. The wall turned out to be an ordinary wooden structure, and the noise was very loud, seriously affecting rest. The hotel does not have disposable slippers. I will definitely not make a reservation next time I go there.

This hotel had a big open lobby with a bar and plenty of areas to use laptops or to gather in small groups.
Convenient parking in a garage was located below the hotel. The elevators were extremely efficient. We were on the 8th floor and never waited. The hotel staff is hard to reach by phone but when we arrived they happily let us check into our room a little early. The beds are very comfortable and very high! The tv remote is odd and we had to call to figure out how to use it. Early morning coffee urns were late to arrive. The hotel is very close to I-95 which was helpful.

The Stamford Hotel lacks cleanliness, and is very dated. The staff also lacks knowledge about its premises. This hotel may be OK for a 1 night stay but nothing longer and I will not be returning.

My sister and I stayed here for one night and it worked out perfect. We were heading into NYC early the next morning so we needed somewhere cheap and easy to get to the city from. It is a 20min walk or 5min drive from the Stamford Train Station. The person at the front desk was friendly during check in. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was also a good size. Would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff are professional and respectful. The room was clean and comfortable. Only downside they should offer lotion and body wash.

They do not provide clean towels to the room, I do not understand why they ask for the number of people in the room and give the towels. They do not have the pool enabled and they do not publish that detail at the time you reserve. If you visit them as a family it is to use the facilities. If it says there is a pool and when you arrive it is not available, that ruins an entire family trip.
