15 mins by car to Newcastle nothing around in walkable distance however an amazing restful place. Beautiful nature, good food and amazing service!

Nice quiet location. Mediocre welcome and attentiveness to disability issues. Great restaurant, attentive staff, great food. If you are disabled take care. We had a stunning bathroom, recently refurbished throughout but totally useless re my wife’s serious and painful disability.

Everything was brilliant during my stay at Beamish Hall, which was in the deluxe room for 1 night! The room itself was great although the safe didn’t work at the time as well as the adjus**ent dial for the bath’s water jets was completely broken, making the jets unable to be adjusted in power. Fortunately this wasn’t a problem and I’m sure this has been addressed and looked at since. The breakfast was brilliant with a great selection of cereals and baked goods etc as well as an ordered main meal breakfast which was fantastic as well! I shall be returning soon after a faultless night in the hotel! I’d certainly recommend it regardless!

Very happy to arrive at this wonderful hotel as the last stop on our Coast 2 Coast cycle trip. The hotel were really accommodating finding a place to store our bikes. Best roast beef I have had in a long while in the restaurant, and great breakfast in the morning. Fireworks for the wedding that was happening were a real treat!

Stayed at the Beamish Hall Hotel for one night. The Lily Room is lovely, over looking the front garden. The staff are very good as are the cocktails and food. We hope to be back again.
