Easy check in with your envelope in the door. Our upstairs room #4 had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The room & bathroom were large & comfortable. Tastefully done in heritage style, not overdone. Shower pressure could have been better. Would have been fantastic if breakfast was included as it was expensive to stay.

I love Hanlon Guest House. It's our second time staying there (both time Beach View Queen Suite Up Stairs with Balcony). Beautiful place. Close to town, the Nut and lovely little penguins.

This is an exceptional accommodation experience. The owners have thought of everything including an ice maker in the guest lounge. In our 15 day tour of Tasmania this was the most comfortable venue in our journey. We will return to Stanley and Hanlon House, it is a gem of a location in Tasmania.

Great location to all shops, cafes, beach and the nut. Excellent bar and snack options both in room and guest lounge. However, in summer it needs a fan or air conditioning as the room was stiffling. The bed was very hard. Fan didnt work in bathroom and you can only watch TV from bed as it doesnt move to face the comfortable chairs.

Hanlon House was a very quiet, clean and comfortable stay. It is a short walk to the Main Street, the beach front and The Nut. The house itself also has deep history and heritage which was interesting to read about and experience in the decor throughout the house.
