We stayed in a room overlooking the roadway and (I think) our room's double glazing was compromised as we could clearly hear the noise of every passing car - some which were boy racers with high revs. We complained to reception (as they asked how our night had been) and they apologised. Wether they reported it I don't know.

We booked last minute & it was cheap. What let it down was the tired state of the bathroom, staff & guests constantly smoking/vaping at the front which stunk the room out & set off my asthma plus it was so noisy early in the morning from trunks sound the horns. Other Travelodges have been far better

Room had dirty marks on walls and leftover rubbish under the bed. Bathroom had a dirty cloth left on the floor.

With Travelodge you get what you pay for. Inside was basic but very clean and staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. However the outside area was very dirty and littered, topped off with a rubbish skip right at the front door. How this was allowed to be placed there is beyond me. I realise Travelodge isint the only tenant (Burgerking, Greggs and a petrol station) but no effort is made to maintain the overall area. Bins in plain view, rubbish strewn around and and overal lair of neglect. with both littering and general landscaping. Next time I think i would pay a few pounds extra and stay in the Holiday Inn up the road. Purely to get away from the dirt..

Hotel close to A1 and next to services but very little road noise. Room good size, clean and heating adjustable. Warm welcome from staff

My stay here was very enjoyable. All the staff were very friendly, especially Kim whom I met on my arrival. She made me feel very welcome and went above and beyond to provide a great customer service. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Would highly recommend it with its nearby bus stop providing regular bus services to Manor Walks Shopping Centre.
