The hotel is built on a mountain in a resort area. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is rich, there are multiple hot spring swimming pools, and there are hiking routes to the top of the mountain.

What stood out for me was their friendly staff. Beautiful outdopr pool and the best thing is that it’s heated. The room was nice but not at the level that they’re charging.

Ein besonderer Dank gilt den freundlichen und umsichtigen Kellnerinnen im Waldhotel, sowie ganz besonders Teresa von der Rezeption und Concierge Lukas die uns äußerst kompetent zur Seite standen

They could not have been more accommodating! Beautiful grounds with spectacular views, wonderful service in all the restaurants we went to and helpful staff. So many wonderful things to do in the area. Would love to go back. 12 out of 10. Worth the money!

I had almost exclusive use of the spa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good. I would have preferred a breakfast buffet instead of à la carte. I would come back anytime.
