MM850379****The location of the B&B is good, very close to the Big Buddha. The bedding is very good and the sleep is very comfortable. We had dinner here, which was cooked by the owner himself. They were all local dishes, which tasted quite good, with fresh ingredients and considerate service. I will definitely come again next time.

GGuest UserThe staff (小谢）was very friendly and helpful. She picked us up at the entrance to Jiuhuashan scenic area 迎仙桥站. Our room was on level one near to the main door, very convenient for elderly couple like us. We asked the host to prepare dinner for us for 2 nights at reasonable price. On the last day, they even helped us to book a private car hire to fetch us all the way to Jiuhuashan station, saving us the hassle of queuing for the bus with heavy luggage cases. Kudos to the staff and highly recommended.

The whole house is smart, the texture of the projection is very good, the high-definition large screen, the bedding is comfortable, people sleep comfortably and practically, the room is quiet, clean, spacious, bright, convenient facilities, the boss service is even better, nothing to say, not only the cooking is good, people are very enthusiastic. The main price is affordable, parking is free, and I am very satisfied with the stay!

I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands.
I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of.
During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service.
But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing.
This was not a tourist activity.
It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries.
My conclusion:
This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

MM10987****I must give it a thumbs up👍 This time I went to Kuhuayaki and I couldn’t stay on the mountain for some reason. I wanted to give it a try and found a B&B at the bottom of the mountain. Unexpectedly, I found a treasure. The store is located near the visitor center and is convenient for taking the shuttle bus. , the first floor is its own small supermarket with rich items, the room is on the second floor, the decoration is very new and clean, there is plenty of hot water, the central air conditioning is also very powerful, all the facilities and equipment are good, and the most important thing is that there is an open-air balcony. You can see the 99-meter Buddha from the terrace. You must know that this is a room of about 160! ! !
The boss is also very enthusiastic. I have to leave at 5:30 the next morning, and the boss sets an alarm clock of 4:50 to open the store for me👍👍👍
In a word, the price/performance ratio is very high. I will stay there next time if I have the opportunity✌✌✌

MM49155****The guesthouse has a great location, right on Jiuhua Street, next to the Huxingshan bus stop for the scenic area to Tiantai. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the Jiuhua Mountain main gate (Yingxian Bridge ticket gate), Zhiyuan Temple, and the cable car station for Baishui Palace. It's a 12-minute walk to the core temple, Huacheng Temple. It's very close to everything.
The owner is very welcoming and helped with luggage at the scenic area gate.
The facilities and cleanliness are average. Those with high standards might find it unacceptable. Consider it a typical guesthouse. Its strength lies in its value for money.

GGuest UserThe boss drove to the ticket office to pick me up. The boss and his family were very friendly. They also brought me a thin blanket at my request. The service was excellent. The room was as shown in the picture. Objectively speaking, it was in line with its price. After all, it was not expensive. It was clean and tidy. The only problem was that the shower door in the bathroom was not closed tightly and the water leaked outside. The water temperature was sometimes hot and sometimes cold.
