GGuest UserLocation was easy to reach. I think all the services and amenities provided are worth the price. Certain sanitary products were not provided but it is understandable for the price per night. The only not so good point is the shower - the water flow was very small and the water was getting too hot so I have to keep adjusting so it doesn't get overheat. Overall, it's still good.

GGuest UserA practical stay in a great location—restaurants, convenience stores, public transport, clinics and a dentist, all within a minute walk. But there was a lot of black mold in the bathroom and I saw a cockroach as soon as I stepped in. Some dust too, dirty looking flooring outside the rooms. Other than that, strong AC unit and comfy bed. No bad smells.

MM赵文I had a disappointing first stay here. I arrived early and was asked to pay extra for early check in, which I refused, but I agreed to wait. The staff then allowed me to check in early without clearly explaining that my room access would end at 7pm. Later that evening, my room was locked, which caused a lot of inconvenience and confusion.
The room itself was very basic and felt old. There were noises from rats/mice at night, the towels and bedsheets looked worn, and the TV only had a few channels. Parking is also not free.
On the positive side, Hotel 99 SS2 Petaling Jaya is located in a very central area with many shops, restaurants, and a night market nearby. The staff were generally Ok, but overall the experience lacked professionalism.
Suitable only if you need a cheap place to stay for one night and don’t expect much.

GGuest UserChecked in after 9 p.m. The room looked new and recently renovated, but cleanliness needs improvement as there were long hair and condom packaging under the bed, and stains on the toilet seat.
The front desk staff, Navee, was friendly and promptly arranged for the room to be cleaned again.
The hotel has an elevator, but it is not in operation. Staying on the third floor was inconvenient, and the hotel is not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

KKSW2023The location is good as it's near the convenience stores, restaurants and even pharmacies. The room is REALLY small. The hallway carpets are also mostly stained. For this price, I'd expect a bit higher quality room conditions. The self-service kiosk is ok but not the best. When I checked out, the cash is finished and I had to go to the reception a couple of times. I think it should be made possible to check in/out in BOTH ways, via the kiosk or at the reception. However, the front desk person is helpful. Overall it's not bad, but given the room conditions, I think the price is a bit high.

KKent toh jian yiThe hotel amenities list mentioned a hairdryer, but after my shower, I realized there wasn't one. I thought maybe the staff forgot to put it in, so I asked at the front desk. To my surprise, they said most of the hairdryers were broken and there were none available. What am I supposed to do with my wet hair? I was in a hurry to go out! I'm completely baffled by this.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay was quite pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. Check-in was smooth, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. The apartment's pool and gym were a nice bonus, and the facilities were pretty good. While the decor and amenities aren't super luxurious, for the price, it offers great value for money, perfect for families or friends traveling together. All in all, it was a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
