Great
MMikki LizMy friend and I liked this place, but there are a few things that really need improvement.
First, there’s basically no security. Anyone can walk into the building and access any floor without a key card, which doesn’t feel safe at all.
Second, the breakfast situation was frustrating. I went up to the 25th floor for breakfast and asked the receptionist if I could bring some food back to my room. She said she didn’t know and told me to ask the kitchen.
When I went in, a staff member explained the food options to me, and I asked if I could just take a small portion like some scrambled eggs and potatoes back to my room on a small plate. She said no and that everyone has to eat there.
Then I just ubereats some breakfast for us. When I checked out, the receptionist asked if I got my food. I said no and I told her they didn’t allow me bring food to my room, she also suggested “Maybe next time you can bring your own plate from your room.”
Honestly… seriously? 😅😅😅
Also, when I booked my room (King Studio), I specifically requested a quiet room away from the elevators. However, when I arrived, I realized my room was right next to the lifts, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the staff member named Menaka at the ground floor during check-in was very helpful and nice.
Parking was $20 overnight, which is cheaper than most hotels in Canada (usually around $28–35), so that was a plus.
The elevators are high-tech, but since there’s no key card restriction, anyone can access any floor. It feels like strangers could easily reach your room, which is concerning.
On the bright side, the place is clean and very quiet at night. Compared to many hotels in Surrey that are close to the SkyTrain or have constant noise from traffic and police sirens, this location is much more peaceful and doesn’t have that issue.
GGuest UserService was good, room was clean and well equipped, although short on coffee pods. The decor was dated as were all appliances and fixtures. Chairs and coach were all low (not good for a bad back), the toilet was also old and low. Best feature was close proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Worst ”feature” was being told the room had a king bed, but no, just a queen. The isn't the only hotel that misrepresents their beds, what an annoying trend. The onsite restaurant pub is very average. Fries were greasy but my Buffalo Chicken Wrap and my wife's Bacon & Tomato Soup were ok. Service in the restaurant was excellent, very helpful waitress.

Very Good
KKH^____^Great location with free shuttle service to the airport. It’s close to Richmond area where there is an array of Asian cuisine and shopping malls. The hotel is clean and offer free coffee/cookies in the lobby
AAnonymous UserIt was my second time staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and tried their best to arrange an early check-in for me even though it was only about 30 -40 minutes earlier than the official check-in time. Ryan and the manager were both very helpful.
The housekeeping staff were also super friendly. I accidentally went to the wrong building and they kindly helped me out. The hotel was clean and tidy as usual.
However, there are two things I need to complain about. First, the TVs in the room were still logged into the previous guests Netflix accounts. I couldn’t find a way to log them out so I ended up using their accounts to watch a movie which was a bit weird and concerning.
Second, the room door didn’t close properly. I didn’t realize it until I returned to the room a few hours later. I then figured out that you have to pull the door very hard to get it to fully close otherwise people can get into your room without access code.
GGuest UserThe long-term co-occupant had spread out everywhere, and since the room was right next to the kitchen, he was audible at every meal, sitting right behind the room door at the table. On the last evening before his departure, his cooking skills set off the smoke detectors. However, the landlady quickly arrived and restored peace. She was quite embarrassed, and after that, he made an effort to be quieter.
KKathlyn JoyToday was my second booking with the hotel and im very satisfied with almost everything. The location is very convenient as there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Even the sky train is just a few minutes walk. That aside, the hotel is very clean and neat. Few kitchen stuff is also provided. Staff is also friendly and approachable.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a nice and comfortable one. I stayed in a room with 2 beds, still feeling spacious. There are also plenty of parking space in the hotel. There are many restaurants around the hotel. It is just around 25 minutes walk to the shopping mall in Metrotown in Burnaby. The closest sky train station Royal Oak Station is just 15 minutes walk. I have 3 comments/suggestions to the hotel to improve the service. 1. The noise of the air-conditioner in the room is a bit loud; 2. I think check-in time at 4pm is a bit late; 3 . I prefer shower gel to soap bar in the bathroom.
GGuest UserLocation is fine, depending on where you want to go. The bus stop is just few steps away from the house. There is a church nearby. Opposite the house you can find a low-rise apartment.
The house and the room I stay are very clean and comfortable. The landlady is friendly and helpful. I feel safe.

JJessicaasDon't hesitate to complain if you have concern about the room you booked that is different than what you received. I booked 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, I received only 1 bathroom, and 1 main bathroom was purposely locked. I complained, got free bfast for the next day and room changed. Although it kinda ruin my plan because of moving much, but ok lah. I will book again if come to richmond.
ZZouguorenshengheibaiqinjianThe hotel's location is very close to the airport, and there's a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. Restaurants and shopping nearby are also very convenient. The room was very clean, and the hotel staff's service attitude was excellent.
