GGuest UserI went to Luoyang for the May Day holiday, but it was so popular that the experience was terrible. I hastily chose Yuntai Mountain, and it was surprisingly good. The only downside was that Hongshixia Gorge was incredibly crowded in the morning. Actually, the order in which you visit the three attractions doesn't make much difference, because Yuntai Mountain is very well-managed, and shuttle buses are always available. Hongshixia Gorge is less crowded in the afternoon. The hotel was nice, with convenient parking and a large courtyard, although the facilities were a bit old. The only drawback was its distance from the attractions; you had to go to the shore service area first each time. I recommend staying at the shore service area for convenient food, accommodation, and transportation.

My father strongly asked to praise this homestay hotel. This is the room I set for my father online. My father travels alone by car. At first, I still had all kinds of uneasy. From the check-in to the play guide, I was afraid that my father was old and not very good at it, but I was completely worried. The front desk of the homestay was very careful and explained very clearly. I also took care of my father and gave me my father's electronic travel guide. I was afraid that my father would not know it. I gave a paper version of the travel guide. This is very suitable for my father's heart. For his age, they like the paper version too much. The front desk specially marked the scenic phone, emergency rescue phone, and the front desk phone of the hotel. This is especially special. Plus points! I have to give a big praise, and my father said that it was very clean. I didn’t report hope for the homestay, but it was really beyond expectations. The towels and bath towels were disposable. The special moment is the owner of the hotel is very kind and helpful. He helped us to find taxi to pick up us from Jiaozuo station to the hotel which take about 1 hr by car. Breakfast also fresh making. I would recommended everyone to stay here during there stay at Yun tai shan. Personally Special thanks for his assistance to contact ticket office to refund our cable car tickets.

This year, May 1st and my family chose to stay at Yuntai Mountain Suixin B&B, which completely subverted my stereotype of scenic accommodation! From the moment I stepped into the homestay, I felt the heart of the shopkeeper's family. The location is excellent. It takes 2 minutes to walk directly to the scenic bus platform. Hongshixia, Yanfeng and other attractions are easy and direct, saving the trouble of dragging luggage.
Full service details:
- The shopkeeper has been a chef for 20 years, and specially customized ”one chicken and two meals” and the mountain vegetable feast for us. The ingredients are fresh enough to even want to pack the soup! The proprietress was even more intimate, not only hand-painted the play route map, but also helped contact the scenic shuttle bus, and even the children's lost toys were recovered as soon as possible.
- Butler service is well-deserved! Report breakfast needs in advance, and there is no complaint about temporary meals. Ask late at night if you need more hot water, which is as warm as your family.
Surprises in the room:
- Choosing the ”wind family room”, the floor-to-ceiling windows will have a panoramic view of the sea of clouds and mountains, and the feeling of being awakened by birds in the morning is too healing! Although the shower room is slightly smaller, the wet and dry separation design + high-end toiletries are completely enough. The best is the top floor terrace, sitting around with the family at night drinking tea and watching the stars, and instantly understanding the artistic conception of ”mountain residence is Taoyuan”.
Rich surrounding play:
- The homestay provides free parking and the self-driving party is friendly! After visiting the peak glass plank road and the monkey valley during the day, I returned to the homestay camping bar in the evening to have a drink. The aroma of charcoal roasted mountain fungus mixed with the mountain wind. This is what the holiday should look like.
The only small regret: the listings are tight during May 1st, it is recommended to book in advance! But seeing the photos of the cave rooms and star vacancies exposed by other guests, I have planned to bring my parents to experience it next year!
Summary: If you want to avoid the crowds and live in the ”mountain people”, this homestay is definitely the finishing touch of Yuntai Mountain's itinerary! Not only saves worry and effort, but also makes travel more humane and fireworks ～
