Outstanding
GGuest UserThis is a total hidden gem in Mount Fuji area! The host was very very kind - She showed us how to use all the facilities including the onsen and sauna when we checked in with great details. She also kept in touch with in via email, assisting us in every way she could. She even welcomed us with drinks and snacks! As for the villa, it was very clean, spacious and cozy. It's also very well equipped with kitchenware and all the necessary amenities! They also have a family-owned restaurant which is just steps away from the villa. We enjoyed a shabu shabu dinner during our stay and absolutely enjoyed ourselves! Thank you so much Kim for making our family vacation so enjoyable and memorable!
ZZhezEven though I didn't get to see Mount Fuji due to the weather, this villa truly exceeded my expectations. The owner was incredibly welcoming and takes care of 13 stray cats. You can even have a barbecue in the yard at night. I highly recommend staying here with friends for a few nights. The only minor drawback is that there's only one restroom downstairs, which isn't ideal for those with upset stomachs at night, haha.
AAnonymous UserThe accommodation is very comfortable and clean with a great view. The location is excellent. Waking up in the morning to see Mount Fuji (Fujisan) was beautiful. The weather was also lovely.
SSeanny LowNice stay at the hotel. Hotel has both public and private onsen (additional cost via reservation). Location of the hotel is on top of a relatively steep slope. Kinda challenging even for cars to get up there, tight lanes and few parking spaces. Hotel has no lift so beware! Hotel has no restaurant but a lounge that serve breakfast, afternoon snacks and small bites for dinner. The room is huge by Japanese standards. Even room has a view of the lake. Good stay!
KKara TaiThis might be the best place to stay near Mt Fuji! The service is incredible and the staff is very friendly! We booked a dome and loved the sauna, bath, dome, kitchen⊠everything! The BBQ dinner and breakfast were outstanding and the detailed cooking instructions were very clear. The bed was very comfortable as well.
Only one complaint - gas grill is located inside the kitchen and the room fills with smoke. Best to open the sliding doors to let the air circulate and also clean the grill before turning it on.
The staff helped us book taxis, which helped a lot, too!
GGuest UserWe were so impressed when we checked in around 6pmâMt. Fuji was perfectly clear! The reception staff were very thoughtful, explaining the onsen, activities, and double-checking our booking. They even guided us to the camping site and let us fill bottles with Mt. Fujiâs pure mineral waterâso welcoming.
Breakfast and BBQ dinner were excellent, with fresh ingredients and tasty meat. The staff were very helpful during the night-time BBQâamazing service! The private toilet, shower, and onsen were very clean.
Convenient location near a supermarket, and we even saw Mt. Fuji again when checking out. Weâll definitely come back!
PPonchita BarabanovaHotel is incredibly cool! Located quite far from Kawaguchico station, but I would recommend to take a walk to it - the way takes about 25-30 minutes and it is very relaxing with fantastic views of Fuji. For the way back, if itâs needed, after check out you can take a free transfer bus to the station. We took a room in traditional style, and it is amazing experience! Kaiseki supper and breakfast are exciting, service is excellent! Public bath is not tattoo friendly, so we couldnât use it, but we booked private bath while checking in and it was a great experience as well.
Hotel has an observation roof where you can see both Fuji and Kawaguchiko lake. I wish we have stayed for longer, but had not much time and booked only one night.
CCongcongThe hotel's location is excellent, though the room was a bit small. Luckily, we used the large public bath, which had soaking tubs and an outdoor onsen. We could even see Mount Fuji from our room! The complimentary breakfast was decent, but a group of noisy Korean ladies were a bit disruptive. The dinner, however, was amazing: roasted beef, two or three types of fish, seafood paella, and curry â it far exceeded my expectations. I had read reviews saying dinner was very simple, but my actual experience was completely the opposite; it was incredibly rich and varied. Transportation was also convenient. We walked along Lake Kawaguchiko from the station when we arrived, taking many beautiful photos, though it was a shame the cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed yet. In the evening, we took a bus to Oishi Park to see Mount Fuji at dusk. When we left, we arranged for the hotel's shuttle service, and it only took five or six minutes to reach the station. I've actually visited Mount Fuji many times, mostly in summer and autumn, but I've never seen it so clearly from its base as I did this time. Absolutely delightful!
GGuest UserThe room is large and the bed is a capsule hotel type. It can accommodate up to 10 people. It is suitable for friends traveling together. But it is a bit far from Kawaguchiko Station. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. It is quite convenient. There is a kitchen for cooking. The scenery is very good under Mount Fuji.
GGuest UserCheck into the Enno-Mori Hotel Kawaguchiko. If you donât use Trip Navigation, Google will lead you to the Enno-Sha Hotel in Yamanakako. My friend and I drove about 40 minutes to and from the two hotels. We stayed at the Kawaguchiko Hotel. The room was brightly lit, but if you check in at night, you need to be very careful to find the parking lot because the signs are not very clear.
