Excellent
GGuest UserThe rooms boast a distinctive ******* style, offering spacious and comfortable accommodation. They are well-equipped and immaculately clean. Situated amidst the mountains, the surroundings are wonderfully serene, and you can enjoy stunning mountain views directly from your balcony. A great bonus is that the hotel covers the entrance fees and sightseeing shuttle tickets. The service was excellent.

AAnonymous UserLocation was brilliant however it was abit dusty due to the renovation.
It was convenient to not drive up to visit the temple as we can just walk there with tickets provided.
- breakfast was good
- front desk service can be improved but driver and those who worked at the restaurant was brilliant.
- we wanted to order dinner at 8pm from the western restaurant but was told that it’s closed even though we were told that the last orders is at 9pm.
- not really worth the money. But it is teh founder’s house and we had a lot of fun looking at the antiques in teh hotel.

JJxiaonijingjingjiangIt was really great. It was my first time to experience camping. It was really cold in Shangri-La Haba Snow Mountain in November, but it was really great to sit in the camp and look at the Haba Snow Mountain opposite. It was really nice to feel the tranquility and beauty.
The B&B is in American camping style. There are about 10 campsites. The furniture styles inside are designed and arranged by the owner himself. It is very warm. If there are many people coming together, you can sing by the bonfire at night. The foot of the snow mountain is so beautiful.
The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very nice. They also raised a very well-behaved and enthusiastic German Shepherd. They can guard the house at night and ask for food when eating. Hahaha, there is also a coffee shop at the foot of the mountain, which is also super good. If the weather is good, three or two people will get together in the coffee shop at night to chat about life and look at the starry sky. It is beautiful.
It happened to rain when I came to Haba Snow Mountain this time, so I didn’t see Haba Snow Mountain, but camping on rainy days has a different flavor. I always have to leave some regrets and look forward to the next wonderful encounter.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in proximity to the Napa lake, and with easy access. The staff was very welcoming, and made the experience great, they are very reactive and help with any inquires. The rooms are very clean and modern, and has oxygen supply.
The food was also great, and local food is served for breakfast and dinner or lunch.
The hotel facilities are beautiful, with a nice garden, traditional architecture and located in a very calm and relaxing area.
We even received a little lunch bag for our travels with tea, water, and cookies.
Pick up and drop off worked great, and was convenient for our travels.
I would like to stay again, when I come back to ShangriLa. Thank you for your warm welcome and the wonderful stay.

Outstanding
GGuest UserMy stay here was absolutely fantastic. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; a taxi to the Old Town costs only 8 RMB, and there's a bus stop right outside for direct access to Napa Lake. Plus, it's surrounded by plenty of dining and shopping options, with a commercial street directly opposite.
The room was clean, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful and quiet night's sleep.
The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making both check-in and check-out quick and seamless. The breakfast spread was also quite varied and delicious.
Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money, providing a five-star experience, and the distinctive Tibetan-style rooms are a unique highlight.

Very Good
GGuest UserI really enjoyed Balagzong, and this hotel within the scenic area was great too. There are three hotels in total within the scenic area: one is at the park entrance, down in the valley, and is more budget-friendly. Another is the cliffside hotel, located in Bala Village, which hosts bonfire parties in the evening, and the scenic area shuttle bus stop is just a short walk down some steps. The third hotel is situated below the temple, offering a quieter atmosphere amidst a surrounding forest.
The cliffside rooms are excellent. They come with a small living area, and the bathroom is separate, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. This separate setup ensures privacy, so you won't be disturbed by your travel companion's washing routine. They provide L'Occitane toiletries. Rooms include both air conditioning and a heater.
Apparently, tourist numbers are down this year, so the hotel offers shuttle service to/from Dukezong Ancient City. While the scenic area bus takes you to the stupa, the hotel provides transport to other attractions. This hotel is a hidden gem within a breathtaking scenic area.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, and you can see Napahai when you open the window.
Because of the last minute schedule, we didn't have time to arrange for the pick-up at the train station. The manager Damon came to the train station to pick us up. When booking, we noted the honeymoon. The hotel also upgraded the room and arranged the layout. During the stay, the manager Damon took special care of us, which made our first day in Shangri-La very enjoyable.
The hotel also has bicycles for us to travel around the sea, but we need to do it according to our ability.
The small hot pot in the evening is also delicious, and the restaurant environment is very good
AAnonymous UserOut of all the hotels I've stayed at across Lijiang, Dali, Pu'er, Chuxiong, Yuxi, and Dehong, this one is hands down the worst I've encountered, both in terms of service and amenities. The breakfast selection was incredibly sparse. The air conditioning wasn't heating and was difficult to turn off, blasting cold air non-stop – I was practically shivering throughout my shower. The poor soundproofing meant constant noise from 6 AM, with people talking loudly and kids jumping around. I'm genuinely surprised how they justify charging over 400 RMB for this experience, even though my company reimbursed me. The overall stay was truly disappointing. To add insult to injury, when I checked out today, I saw the price had dropped to 350 RMB, which frankly just made me scoff in disbelief. I initially wasn't going to leave a review, but then I recalled the hassle with getting an invoice; the staff completely ignored my request multiple times and only processed it after repeated inquiries. In summary, steer clear of this hotel. The more I think about it, the angrier I get. I will absolutely not be returning here for any future business trips. This is an honest review, and to any customer service representatives: don't even think about contacting me to ask me to change it.
