GGuest UserThis was one of the most memorable domestic trips I've had recently. Although the activity area wasn't large, mainly centered around the various Tulou (earthen buildings), it was like tea – worth savoring slowly, repeatedly 'brewing' its essence.
The hotel's unique character really stands out, and the service is good. While there aren't many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every dish is excellent. As the 'building manager' said, the facilities and environment are 'restored to their old glory,' meaning they intentionally preserve the antique feel. Some minor imperfections and inconvenient transportation are negligible; you really can't judge it by conventional hotel standards.
Towards the end of the Chinese New Year holiday, the crowds receded like a tide, and the village returned to its original tranquility. On the dimly lit village paths, there wasn't even the sound of barking dogs or human voices, only the gurgling of water and a faint scent of osmanthus.
During the day, with sightseeing and guided tours, the Tulou seemed like quiet, well-behaved children, accepting the guide's introductions and visitors' comments. At night, illuminated by red lanterns, bonfires, and moonlight, the Tulou suddenly came alive, as if time belonged to them again, showcasing the steady wisdom and profound depth of elders. Yaodong, Wenxuan, Daosun, Heqing, Yuchang… the building names are filled with beautiful characters, representing generations of yearning and pursuit of a good life.
'They asked what era this was, and knew not of the Han, let alone the Wei or Jin…' For this village nestled by mountains and water, everything seems insignificant except for technology. Technology restored the old buildings, presenting them to newcomers, while the people who once lived here, with their desires and attachments, left no trace…
Strangers admired each other's dazzling fireworks together. Though a fleeting joy in the river of time, it 'called back' the harmonious atmosphere of the clans who once lived collectively in the Tulou… Time achieved a closed loop here; life has always cycled in this manner.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right on Jinluan Bay Beach. You just cross the road and you're there, perfect for catching the mirror-like sunrise. With sunrise expected around 6:40 AM, I could leave my room at 6:20 AM – you can imagine how convenient that was!
The hotel itself is huge. We stayed in a family suite in the villa area this time, and the environment was wonderful. It even had a small yard, and I could hear the sound of the waves right from my room, which was so therapeutic!
The service was incredibly warm. There's a shuttle bus that takes you from your room to the hotel entrance, and the staff always greeted us whenever we saw them. Plus, for New Year's, the hotel organized dumpling making, prayer ceremonies, a bonfire party, and fireworks – so thoughtful!

GGuest UserDongshan Fulaixi Hotel is located on Dongshan Island, close to Jinluan Bay Beach. The hotel faces the sea and there is a free beach right outside. It has a superior geographical location in the middle of Dongshan Island, and is convenient for visiting various attractions. Ruan Liutao, the front desk clerk of the hotel, greeted us with a smile and patiently introduced the attractions of Dongshan Island. Chen Ye, the front desk clerk, also took the trouble to explain the tour route to us in detail. The hotel has such a good service level, which is so heartwarming. I also give a thumbs up to the hotel management. In addition, the hotel buffet breakfast is also very rich. This is a great experience and I will recommend it to my friends.

GGuest UserWe booked this for Chinese New Year's Eve. The three-bedroom villa with a large living room and yard was perfect for a big family. The environment was lovely, and it's very close to the scenic area, which was nice for an evening stroll. However, the charges at Yunshuiyao are unreasonable; Meilin Ancient Town next door is much better. We also had our New Year's Eve dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and the food was decent, better than we expected. The restaurant manager was quite professional.
On the downside, there were some noticeable issues. First, the cleanliness wasn't great. I understand villas can be harder to maintain, but guests might need to consider the hygiene in a few years. Then there was the service. The staff guiding us clearly hadn't been trained. We waited in the lobby, and the front desk said they'd arrived, but the guide on the electric scooter didn't even come in to look for us. We had to wait so long that we went out to find him ourselves. When he guided us to the villa, it felt like he wasn't familiar with it himself! He didn't know where the car entrance was and had us park quite far away. There was no introduction to the amenities; we had to find the restaurant ourselves. To be fair, when the TV signal was bad on New Year's Eve, staff came quickly. Overall, the service didn't quite meet expectations.

SstepheningVery satisfied, especially the greeting from the beautiful lady at the front desk, it felt like home. Although I didn't see clearly that the reservation did not include breakfast, the beautiful lady made an exception and gave me a breakfast for free. Thank you so much. I hope she will give me a breakfast for free next time.

YYiyulvjianFirst time at Banyueshan, stayed in the Hot Spring Villa King Room, and the experience was still perfect! 💯
The room was amazing, with a super large private hot tub on the balcony. Just turn on the tap, and it's strontium-rich hot spring water – soak whenever you want, with excellent privacy. Soaking at night while stargazing, or coming back to soak after a tiring day of activities – this is what a vacation should be like!
The service was impeccable. From booking the free shuttle from Xiamen North Station, I already felt their thoughtfulness. Check-in at the front desk was fast, and the staff's smiles were very warm. There was a super rich variety of free activities; I worked out in the gym and even tried fishing. I was just playing around, but surprisingly, I actually caught a small fish, and my child was incredibly excited!
The overall environment of the hotel is very quiet, like a hidden paradise in the mountains, with excellent air quality. My only regret this time was not being able to visit the horse ranch – I'll save that for next time!
I've already recommended it to friends; it's definitely a hidden gem of a hot spring hotel that I'll revisit countless times! 🏞️

WWing SunI wanted to visit Zhangzhou during the May Day holiday, but had to give up because I couldn't get high-speed rail tickets. A friend who had visited before stayed at this hotel and said it was good for families with children, so I booked the hotel first and then tried to get tickets later. The hotel isn't far from the high-speed rail station, about an 11-minute taxi ride. Behind the hotel is a food street with a restaurant called Wenzai Sheng Tang (a type of hot pot), where we ate breakfast almost every day. There's also a pedestrian street nearby, which had events during the National Day holiday, making it convenient for eating and shopping. However, this area seems to be a new district, looking quite similar to Shenzhen. Only in the old town of Zhangzhou do you really feel the local culture. Also, I want to mention that the hotel's shower rooms leaked quite badly; the last picture shows that.
