The Blackberry Inn Bed & Breakfast

Our hosts Brian and David were friendly and helpful and gave tips on where to eat locally. The breakfast provided was very good, and my vegetarian requests were taken into account. The location was also very convenient for restaurants, Watkins Glen State Park and the Harbour, as we didn’t need to drive. However we were surprised and disappointed on arrival to see that the house did not reflect what was shown in the online photos and reviews. The garden needs maintenance and the railings on steps and porch/entrance area are in need a good cleaning. We found dead leaves on plant in our bathroom, a couple used band-aid plasters on our bedroom floor and dust in the corners, which was quite off putting, and the lack of blackout blinds meant we woke up earlier than we would have liked. For the price we paid ($523.30 for two nights) we expected a much better standard of accommodation.

This is a lovely little inn; in a quiet neighborhood within a block or two of some nice eateries. The innkeepers are knowledgeable and know their town. Listen to their restaurant recommendations! Our room was clean, comfy and well appointed. Breakfast was exceptional. We will return!

Charming venue and proprietors! The Blackberry Inn B&B exceeded our expectations. Great location for exploring the Finger Lakes and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the Watkins Glen State Park--situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The breakfast is outstanding, everything fresh and locally sourced. The house is comfortable in every way--especially since Brian and David are such awesome hosts. The evening greeting over a glass of wine set the tone for an awesome visit. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

This was our 4th stay at Blackberry B&B. it is within walking distance to the downtown area and in a quiet neighborhood. It's a great homebase for touring the wineries. The hosts are sincerely friendly and welcoming. Great place.

Place was CLEAN. Location incredible. We parked our car for two days and just walked everywhere! Breakfast DELICIOUS! This is a wonderful place to stay with so much charm you don’t get in a fancy hotel. Room number 3 had all the amenities you would want. The bed was so comfortable and it was so nice to relax in the two win back chairs in the room. Breakfast was great both mornings we were there and we had another wonderful couple from New York City to share breakfast with as well. David our host is a great chef and he gave us ideas for wineries and restaurants to try. The BlackBerry Inn gets a 5 star rating from us!!!!

My wife and I had a great stay. Fabulous breakfast. Great innkeepers There is a wine hour for the guests This is the place to go in the Watkin Glen area. We were there for 3 nights. The guys will give you great recommendation for everything to see and do

Two years ago my fiancé and I had an amazing stay at the inn. It was so warm and welcoming! Best breakfast ever and my fiancé is a chef. Our plan was to stay ever year but COVID happened. When things started to get back to normal we decided to comeback. My fiancé asked me to marry him that weekend! We told the David and Brian and they were so happy and congratulated us with big hugs! 10 out of 10 will always come back. Definitely making a trip to stop by during the honeymoon!

We loved out time at Blackberry Inn, it really was quite memorable. The rooms are clean, cozy, and comfortable, with great A/C (we were there during a hot spell), lots of outlets, and lots of storage space and seating. I can't overstate how comfortable our bed was -- this was by far the best mattress I've slept on in any hotel. I couldn't feel my husband move, and he tosses and turns like a crazy person some nights. I loved the fluffy white robes in our closet! We had the room with the bathroom across the hall, which was fine once we got used to it. There are codes on all the doors, so we could be sure that nobody could get into our hall bathroom when we weren't in it. The most memorable part of the stay was breakfast. We were there two nights, and both mornings the breakfast was phenomenal. Homemade muffins, baked french toast with ricotta cream, egg soufflé, locally-made or homemade sausages... it was dreamy. David and Brian are incredibly kind, welcoming and funny, and Dominik took good care of us and kept the place sparkling. We are so glad we found this little gem.
