This is a beautiful smaller 26 room boutique hotel near Sugarbush Mountain in Vermont. From the beginning/contactless checkin everything was fine and well maintained. Loved the small decorative touches throughout the entire lodge. The coffee bar area was nice in the morning. We used the game room to hang out and interact with guests from Australia & Canada. Highly recommend staying at this hotel and will definitely stay again if my travels brings us back to this area.

The location was great for those skiing Sugar Bush and Mad River Glen. The resort had ample parking, the rooms are a bit small but vey clean, The only thing missing was a private fridge in the room, but the shared fridge was very clean and the staff were very nice.

Easy check in and check out. Cleanliness was excellent. Room was not spacious, but the lodge areas are open and inviting, you spend a lot of time there. A quiet place to stay, centered to ski areas and Waitsfield.

Great stay at the White Horse Lodge. The owner wasn’t present but communicated via text effectively. 24/7 free coffee/tea, I definitely liked that. No breakfast included so be sure to bring some morning snacks to have with your coffee before heading for the slopes!

A local shopkeeper characterized the hotel as "basic," but it was fine for our needs since we didn't spend much time in our rooms anyway. We really enjoyed the fireplace room in the evenings, and there's a game room and kitchen area for BYO meals. They do offer free coffee and creamers/sweeteners along with a large fridge and microwave for guest use. There's a game room (bring quarters), a small sundries kiosk by the front desk, and some outdoor areas that looked as if they'd have been nice in warmer weather. Helpful and efficient staff, good communication for self checkin.
