Last minute booking . Given it is a university town, the rooms were not quite clean at all . Our room had not been cleaned at all , but the lady at the front desk was very helpful and put us in a new room.

I have stayed in this hotel for a month, the service attitude is very good, the daily breakfast is relatively fixed, the unlimited supply of coffee, bread, milk, and Tigger Valley corn flakes, many people took them back to their rooms during the epidemic The bread needs to be heated, and there is a microwave in the lobby. There is no kettle in the room, which is troublesome. The wifi in the room is not very stable, relatively slow, and the video often gets stuck. The double room has been refurbished and looks relatively new.

Hotel is dirty. The room was dirty, not worth $215 for game night. Everything is old and it reminded me of a La Quinta Inn. This should not be a Wyndham property. Extremely unsatisfactory. The third floor hallway carpet was soaking wet by the stairs. This place needs to be tore down.

This hotel was filthy, in disrepair and felt unsafe. The elevator walls and floors were gross. The hall way had open large holes in ceiling and some kind of work happening on “baseboards”. The door to our room had to be violently rammed to get it open it was ajar when we walked up but it still had to be rammed open. The extra lock from the top was broken off and laying on the dresser. The carpet was filthy and not vacuumed. There were crumbs and food on the furniture. The beds were made but so messy it was a question. No headboards. One of the beds was broken such that the whole front was on the floor so the bed was at an incline. The bathroom was disgusting- hair on every surface, toilet rust stained but also had urine and feces and the shower had hair all in it and did not drain. There was not another room in Starkville for college move in. Next time I’ll sleep in my car.

The hotel looked poor from the outside but was worse on the inside. Outside signage was laying on the ground. Side door of the hotel had several people drinking and mulling around the entrance. Don’t know if they were guests or homeless people. The room needed some repairs and tlc.

Room was not clean. Requested a different room. It was slightly better than room 1 but not by much. Stopped by store and purchased a bleach cleaner to use in bathroom. Kind employee at front desk did mop bathroom floor even though she was not part of housekeeping.

Where to start. The “1st” room we walked into, which was supposed to be cleaned, was filthy. The mirror across both beds doesn’t look like it was ever cleaned. One of the beds actually had a dirty fitted sheet. Basically, the room should have been cleaned properly. The “2nd” room was a bit better but not much. Again, the mirror in the bedroom wasn’t cleaned; dust and hand prints everywhere. Someone from Wyndham corporate should be spot checking their properties.

Staff was not engaging. Only worked desk, didn’t interact with guest. Floors had huge cockroaches, bathrooms were not clean and had rust looking stains in the tub and toilet. Iron was burned and stained clothes. Refrigerator froze food and drinks. TV and phone did not work. Breakfast was horrible, only waffles, bagels and cereal (not good selection). This was simply a place to lay my head but was NOT comfortable And clean at all. If it was not super bulldog weekend with no other hotel available, I would have left and not stay there.

My stay was a good one. I’ve stayed at this Microtel a number of times, and each stay has been a good one. Cleanliness and service have always been good. The employees have been friendly and helpful. The location is also good. There is quick access to MSU, restaurants, and the bypass.
