The complex is huge and it could be great if there weren’t so many misunderstandings. - huge room with fireplace, jacuzzi, spacious bathroom but dirty and old dated. There were used towels in the wardrobe from previous guests - The SPA is like luna park. Full of children who screams and jump in the pools. If you don’t bring a towel from your room, you have to pay for IT in the SPA. - what about the food - it’s poor and tasteless. - a bottle of wine at the shopis 18 BGN. Same bottle of wine in the bar which is 10 meters from the shop is 50 BGN. - it’s time for a party. Let’s go to the “piano bar”. Oh, wait! It’s 11 pm but it’s full of children. They are everywhere, run, jump and climb over tables. What the heck those children doing at midnight at the bar where adults drink alcohol and smoke?? At 11 pm you find out that this is not a piano bar but night club with dj and chalga. This is what you get for 200 € per night.

Excellent resort and spa hotel in Starosel. Staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. The wine production and wine cellars are definately worth seeing. Breakfast and dinner are plentiful. I can recommend this resort based on my own experience.

We have visited the complex quite a number of times. We actually live nearby. The complex itself is absolutely beautiful and the spa water is everything as promised. Wonderful facilities, luxurious setting, and a very relaxing day out. The attitude of the staff, however, leave a lot to be desired. On three occasions the staff in the actual Reception have been very rude. The staff in the restaurant are incredibly slow and often rude also. This is not the case with all of them but it is our experience that they tend not to be very helpful. On the previous two occasions we have visited the attitude of the staff has actually marred our visit.

Le 19 août, de retour de Plovdiv, nous avons emprunté une petite route de campagne en direction de Koprivchtitsa et fait un crochet par le complexe Vin et Spa de Starosel. Nous avons repéré les lieux pour un séjour éventuel à une autre date et visité la vinothèque. Nous sommes repartis après l'achat de 2 packs de 6 bouteilles de vin rouge produit sur place. Le site est bien tenu et l'ensemble fort agréable.

Die Apartments waren schrecklich. Dreckig und abgewohnt. Auf dem Sofa war ein riesiger Fleck der ekelig aussah. Das Personal an der oberen Rezeption war sehr arrogant. Das Restaurant und Wein tasting waren gut . Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht.

Tout d'abord, le cadre est beau avec de petits jardins au milieu de chaque bâtiment (avec même un paon !). Chambre au calme et spacieuse. Petit déjeuner à la carte (bon sans plus). On est un peu loin de tout, voiture obligatoire. Dans l'ensemble, cet établissement n'est pas dénué de charme.

An amazing place with five beautiful mineral water pools made in style of the Thracian ruins discovered near by (a must see). The resorts is made in old-fashioned Bulgarian style village with all necessary luxuries of today. Staff was very pleasant. Food and wine were great. A great place for girlfriends get together (multiple spas with all kinds of services incorporating wine). There were several corporate tram building events going on while we were there. I wish my company would send us to such places. We were there with our kids and my Mom. They loved it. Of all places we visited in Bulgaria this is the place I would definitely go back to. Visiting the Thracian temple and grave built 2500 years ago with unexplainable engineering skills topped the great experience.
